Hotel Sunset View

Clean, cozy, well decorated rooms. Food here is absolutely moreish. Soft-spoken and well mannered staff. The only con this place bears is the number of stairs one has to climb in order to reach their room .. that too ain't a big deal unless you're old or diseased. An overall wholesome, pretty and decent place to stay at if you visit Pelling.

Nope, just nope. Horrible experience. Hotel overbooked, then offered us different rooms at a much higher price. The rooms weren't even cleaned, and the carpets were filthy. Also no water in wash-basin. I wont complain about the insects, as there are a lot of insects in Pelling itself, but maybe if the hotel maintained some cleanliness, there would be less of them. Conclusion, owner overbooks hotel, then gives you expensive room, which is absolute trash. The price is not justified once you look at the condition of the rooms. Location is okay.

Recent Stay at this Hotel will share the Advantages and dis-advantages. Advantages: 1. The best Place to see Kanchanjangha in the morning. The hotel located at Helipad. Just climb the stares you see the splendid Kanchanjangha. 2. Food is good. Its average 1300/= per day for a 4 persons (Veg Meal- BF/Lunch/Dinner ) 3. Staff is good. Disadvantages: 1. Most of the time there is no electricity. No Mobile charging. 2. No running hot water, hence travelling with children is quite a problem 3. Hotel will supply you with 1 mug of Hot Water on request that is not enough. 4. No room cleaning everyday. 5.Generator service is only from 6-10 pm. Beyond that you are left in the dark.

The hotel location is amazing and food quality is very good. Hotel rooms are neat and clean as per the expectation. All the staff and owner Mr Somnath Nag is very cooperative and well behaved. It was my 3rd trip to Pelling and 2nd time in Hotel Hill view.......Amazing feeling with family.....Miss you "Hotel Hill view"...... Thanks Soumen Dasgupta

Me and my family, we stayed here recently during middle oct and we really liked the service, hotel staff us also very helpful and good behavior. We paid 13000 for 2 night and in this it includes 3 time meals. We loved this hotel. Hope everyone can enjoy like we were doing😁😁

Recent Stayed at this Hotel in the month of Oct 2019 for 2 days. They have taken the room rent 1800/day. Its absolutely waste of money. Other than the location advantage there is no point of staying in this hotel. The management of this hotel does not have any mentality to give the service to customer. Disadvantages: 1. Most of the time there is no electricity. No Mobile charging. 2. There is TV in the room but there is no connection in the TV. 3. No hot water, hence travelling with children is quite a problem. If you get the hot water you should definitely go for taking lottery ticket. 4. No room cleaning everyday. 5.Generator service is only from 6-10 pm. Beyond that you are left in the dark. 6. Hotel canteen is very dirty, unhygienic and not enough light. 7. The entrance is such worst that you have to carry high power torchlight after daylight. There is not a single light at the entrance.

Lovely location, friendly staff and a some variety of food. Ask for the local cuisine, it is fantastic. The views from the hotel are mind blowing.

If you want a cosy well decorated hotel....this is not for you.....Rooms very average.... stairs steep and not easily accessible for aged person.....But 1 star extra for hospitality of the manager and delicious food items....Not too disappointing.
