Ravongla Lookboong Hotel

Behaviour is not good. Quality and quantity of food is not good. N my suggestion is not to buy any kind of Drink from is hotel including Tea.

Rooms are like prison cells and surrounded by constructions. Hotel doesn't maintain tidiness. Bedsheets , walls , washrooms .. you will be shocked by every corner of it . Do not waste your money and find a better stay. This hotel is not at all worthy.

This is a newly built hotel. It is situated just beside the main market of the town of Ravangla. It also has a restaurant in the 1st floor. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The washrooms are also clean. The room service is very quick and have a very good feedback. They also provide you with filtered water for drinking when needed. They do not accept cards but you can pay by cash or transfer the amount to their account online. The place is also lively and every person there are very helpful and friendly and they provide you with every possible information about the city and the local sightseeing places. They do not have a large parking but one can easily park their vehicle for a night or two.

A nice and newly built hotel in Ravangla, Sikkim. The rooms are fairly placed with clean bathrooms. There is a restaurant at the first floor where people can dine and even arrange small parties. The staff is good and responsive. The food is also good and enjoyable. During off season one has to order food in advance to have it on time.

Lookboong is a very nice hotel in Rabangla. We had booked via OYO at another hotel which was denied as usual from hotel end. (OYO - the fraud hotel booking company which blocks payments of hoteliers and torments the customer I have stopped booking OYO after few such incidents in 4 5 cities across India. I came to know how they are blackmailing and strong arming the hoteliers). Coming back to the point after getting very disappointed and spending money traveling here to their with luggage I accidentally met one of the partners/owner of Lookboong hotel in a shop He helped me get a reservation and also a discount. He was a very humble person. I and my wife had a great stay at the Hotel. Thank you for making my stay so lovely and memorable.

Hotel location was good, rooms comfortable.. View was good. Hotel staff was courteous and services was good. Honestly we didn't expect much at this small place but it proved to be one of the best experience during my Sikkim visit. Their Chef was good and food was yummy though had limited options

We were here at Oct end just for 1 night with a group of 20ppl all family. The hotel provided all help required. Humble ppl, great service, cozy clean rooms. We chose this hotel coz of the good Vegetarian food that it provides exclusively. If you are Vegetarian, then just go for it. Once on return journey enroute, we just wanted to freshen up, the hotel willingly allowed us.

Not worth the money! When we booked this hotel they confirmed that there is Kanchanjenga view however none of the rooms have any Kanchanjenga view. You can have only town view from the road side rooms. We paid advance for 4 super deluxe rooms for 2 days but initialy they offered us small deluxe rooms when we reached there. When we argued that the booking was done for super deluxe rooms, they then finally allotted us 4 super deluxe rooms. Only 2 roadside rooms were ok and remaining 2 were on the inside which remained dark half of the day due to load shedding. Everyday they have power cut from morning till late afternoon and power backup is not there. Even hot water is not available from 10 am till late afternoon. This hotel lacks the term called hospitality as they try to cut the corners by every possible mean e.g. electric kettle provided without electric attachment and insufficient breakfast. The building doesn't have any lift so you will have to climb by stairs till fourth floor. They have their in-house restaurant at first floor but food is expensive compared to other local restaurants. They even do not have proper parking area for four wheelers.
