OYO 8726 Misty Mountains Kodaikanal

I recently stayed at a resort in Kodaikanal, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. The check-in process was chaotic, with unhelpful staff who seemed disorganized and uninterested in assisting us. The room was in poor condition—dirty linens, broken fixtures, and an unpleasant odor. The promised "beautiful views" were overshadowed by a view of a dilapidated building. The amenities were lacking; the pool was filthy, and the dining options were limited and tasteless. To top it off, the noise levels were unbearable, with loud music playing late into the night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The service was incredibly slow and indifferent, and any complaints we made were met with apathy. Overall, I do not recommend this resort to anyone. There are plenty of better options in Kodaikanal that actually care about their guests. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs!

The hotel ambience & view from the rooms are great ! Food is okay but a bit over priced ! Room service is good. Parking available but the road access is very steep and only experienced drivers can drive

Property owner displayed a lack of courtesy, often coming across as rude in interactions. Additionally, they demonstrated a noticeable disregard for important details related to the property, which affected the overall experience. This inattentiveness could include failing to address maintenance issues, neglecting to provide essential information about the property, or not responding promptly to inquiries

The best attraction is location and rooms. A decent resort good for both family and friends. Rooms: The rooms were clean and it had open kitchen with dishes. The bed and sheets were good. We stayed in the upper deck the view was really good and in the evening you get chill breeze that would literally freeze you. Location: It’s little far from the city centre and the road to reach the resort is steep so better have good driving experience or driver. The resort is built on a very big land area, they have garden area, play area, restaurant and kitchenette, etc., Amenities: Little disappointed here since they only gave the rooms, there was no toiletries and the restaurant was charging very high price and they only prepare after we order because most of them doesn’t buy it from there. Attraction: The view from balcony and bed room is the best attraction.

We had a 3 days stay with homely food from the canteen. They provided a kettle, as I have 2 kids. Room was cozy and clean. Had a stay like was in our home. Privacy assured. Parking was comfortable. If we want to take away from canteen, they will provide in hot boxes. Very nice experience

Excellent stay. This is a awesome location to stay in Kodai. You could see the real nature in and around this stay. Such a wonderful stay we had. We will have a great experience in this place. Restaurant food is good as well. Only thing is you need a car for sure which is located around 3 kms away from city. Its a steep road and should be a experienced driver to drive overall places in Kodai.

The property is nestled right at the heart of the town and offers great view. The rooms are well -equiped. The canteen offers tasty South Indian food for breakfast, you may have to wait 10-15 mins for your order. But totally worth it.

These are individual rooms that are held by private owners. You can choose 1 bhk or 2bhk based on needs. Best Beatiful view - you can view the entire city from your balcony. Need improve No proper room service will affect regular travellers. Restaurant available. However, you need to prebook with your preferred menu from their menu list. Food taste is good and separate dining hall available. We spotted Bison and forest pig near our room. So if you go around the area then please go as a group and watch all the area carefully.
