My stay at Le Grace was truly enjoyable! The rooms were neat, well-maintained, and had a cozy vibe. The staff were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The location was perfect and easily accessible. I really liked the calm environment and the overall cleanliness of the place. Would definitely recommend Le Grace to anyone visiting the area – totally worth it!

Le Grace Residency is, I think an old building maintained to a new version. But you can see the pictures of it, The room and bathroom are old style. But you will get a worthy stay for below 1000. I'm assured that. I'm a bachelor and I don't care about anything. We can park the car, note the huge parking area but you can park your car. The location is 2 KM far away from Kodaikanal Lake and I think it's a good idea, because the area is silent and peaceful. You are entering the 2nd floor. Which means rooms are on the ground floor. So when you come on hot days, the room is 🥵... And the Mobile signal is bad in the room. You can use normal calls, but when Coming to the internet usage and Video calls, it's sucks.. Bathrooms are old models. Not very neat and clean. But ok for me. Worthy stay. That's it. 💫

There is no free drinking water. If you dont know local language then it will be a problem for you for sure. You have to purchase the drinking water. Only one towel for 3 person for two nights. Rooms are fine for family but you should carry additional towels, mosquito repliant and there is no fan inside room. You get lot of noise from other boarders inside room it can disturbed the sleep. Main market is around 3 km from this hotel.

All the reviews are fake, including the ones on gmap. They ask people to submit review while checkout. I've seen them take phones from people and write reviews themselves so they can keep their ratings up. The WIFI is a scam, you can only use wifi in front office and all the rooms are below so you won't get any wifi. There is a TV in the room but no connection. I booked for 1500 rs and rooms look like cheap lodge. They didn't even provide drinking water saying bottles are not allowed so i had to collect water from the front office with the flask i carried. When i asked for checkout time they said 10am even though it was mentioned 11am in the app. The bed sheets and pillow covers were not cleaned, found a lot of hairs in it. Pros: you can turn on the geyser within the room unlike some other rooms which we have to request the caretaker to do it

Terrible experience at this hotel. While the view was decent, everything else was far below standard. The room was not clean and had a bad smell, including the bathroom. Water pipes were leaking, and outlet water was flowing onto the bathroom floor, creating a mess. Lights were not working properly, and the TV in the room was a small-sized one that didn’t even work—it was just for display, not for use. The hotel management doesn’t care about these issues. The staff showed a lethargic response and didn’t even bother to check or fix the problems despite repeated complaints. If you try to order food, they promise to come but don’t show up even after 30 minutes. When the food finally arrives, it’s overpriced, tasteless, and poorly prepared. I booked the stay through MakeMyTrip, where the location was falsely mentioned as near the bus stand. In reality, the hotel is around 5 km away, causing unnecessary inconvenience. It seems they treat guests who book through third-party platforms very poorly. Overall, the location, parking, room cleanliness, maintenance, and service were all terrible. The hotel management and staff were completely unresponsive to any issues raised. The only positive thing was the view, but it’s absolutely not worth the price. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s overpriced and fails miserably in providing even basic amenities and decent service.

The property appears to be in good condition, however the maintenance is really poor. We stayed in this home for four days and had a tough time accessing basic services. The TV did not function; in fact, it did work, but no one knew how to use it. The bathroom tap broke and we made repeated enquiries, but it was never fixed until we checked out. We must climb and reach reception for all basic necessities. Overall, I believe they should focus on maintenance and hire more knowledgeable employees that are familiar with the hospitality sector.
