Vijaya Guest House

I loved my two-week stay at Vijaya Guest House. Modest accommodations just a very short walk to the ashram, and you can certainly walk to town from the location, too. With that said, the location is also rather quiet. The rooftop has a truly incredible view of Arunachala. The owner is hospitable, friendly, and provided all the information I needed to make my stay pleasurable. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Tiruvannamalai.

Simply the best host we had in about 15 hotels. My travel partner and I felt warmly welcomed, eased in all the process and cared for. The host had a genuine sens of accommodating. On top of that, the room was modern well furnished and maintained. I can only recommend!

The room was impeccably clean, and neat, and I slept soundly for two nights. My only complaint is that after the second night the owner became seriously angry at me for reasons which are unintelligible. Even tough I noticed large pictures of both Ramana Maharshi and Sai Baba hanging on the walls, I considered it safest to pack my things and lodge somewhere else.

This is a delightful homestay very close to Ramana Asramam. The hosts Murugan and Kavitha are genuinely caring people and one feels warmly welcomed into their home. The rooms are well appointed, clean and very functional. The location is excellent and quiet and the hosts accommodate requests with a smile. A gem of a find in Tiruvannamalai. P.S. A relatively minor improvement would be the provision of door hooks and towel rod in the bathroom.

Good guest house in tiruvannamalai. Paid Rs.3500 for 3 people on the day of full moon day. Rooms in tiruvannamalai will be costly a day before and on the day of girivallam. The room was big, and AC was adequate for the big room. The bathroom was spacious. Only Luke warm water in the tap. No room service or TV. Parking needs to be done in the nearby parking lot. There is no place in front of the guest house to park.

Very clean and tidy rooms.Nice place to stay in tiruvannamalai.Guest house near to Ramanashram.Owner is helpful and hotwater is also available.Girivalam path is around 300m from Guesthouse. Price is bit expensive

Namaste I am arriving at this guest house in a few months and had a question, when I come inside the building do I take my shoes off and is there Wi-fi?

Though the appearance from outside makes one feel as a house, the rooms are well equipped. It has all facilities and one can see the Annamalai mountain when u climb to the terrace. All the ashrams are walkable from the guest house. Above all the owner talks and helps you. A very genuine person. Best place to stay for the economical price. Food will not be served here.
