Trishul Hotel

The hotel is very near to the temple. Rooms are neat and clean and the room service is too good . The complimentary breakfast do not have many options except idli and vada. Not even sugar less coffee was available. But the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Overall my stay was very comfortable and I will recommend for others.

Trishul hotel last its old glory due to its closure during the pandemic. Needs more maintenance. Rooms are okay. But needs little maintenance due to long closure. Complementary breakfast stopped temporarily. Very close to temple. Parking facilities are there but needs more space. If little maintenance improved with new bedspread, it would be ok

Reasonable price, hotel is clean, walk able distance to the temple is the major plus point. Rooms are neat. Service is good. Restaurant food is nice. vegetarian dishes is not as good as nog veg dishes.

Very good value if you book with cleartrip (offer frequent deals that get you 40-50% off the reception desk price). ||Pros: |Windows tinted and big! |Free WiFi with modems on every floor. |View of Arunachala mountain. |Clean. Towels, soap and toilet paper provided without asking (a first so far for us in India). |Comfy beds (two singles, we pushed them together). |Bathroom nice and big, good water pressure. |Elevator in building. |Restaurant attached (free breakfast 7-9am).|Mosquito netting on windows (see cons) |Electric mosquito repellent provided. |Satellite TV had English channels (reception fuzzy).||Cons:|Picture of hotel front on their website is real, but been partially blocked by a big carport they've recently built. |Flyscreen on main window had slight gaps on the edges so mosquitoes can get through. |Floor wasn't so clean (felt sandy).

Staying in this hotel is mixed feeling. we stayed in 210. Hotel is in Old building. Lift is also very old. Regular power cuts will be there, but they will run Generator in such case. AC is very mild and you cannot change the temperature. Wall mounted Fan is not rotating. It is blowing to other side. Window cannot be opened. There is ceiling fan in bathroom instead of living room I don’t know why. Toilet seat is not movable. They fixed it permanently with nuts and bolts. Jet spray is not working. Not satisfied with food. We ate only once and later we went outside for food. Pros. Near to main temple. Suggestion to visitors: There is one restaurant in the opposite side of temple called Deepam. They will serve good quality and tasty food.

On our return to bangalore from Vaitheeswarankoil, via chidambaram, tirukoilur , we headed to this hotel on the 25th march 2017, around 2100 hrs.||at the onset locating this hotel is herculean task, since its located in one of the side roads, and at night times its tough navigating through the narrow lanes of Tiruvannamalai.||at the entrance to the gate, we were navigated inside the small parking area by the security, and attendants helped us in offloading our baggages.||the check in formalities were smooth, our family was allotted rooms as per requirement, 1DBLB & 1 TRPL, we were allotted rooms in the 3rd floor, and conveyed through a well kept old Lift. the corridors of the hotel was well lit, and freshly painted too.||||the room allotted to us was fairly large offering 4 independent cots, a TV the usual small wardrobe.||||potable water is by means of RO drinking water , which unfortunately was not kept, and since we carried our own Bisleri water did not ask the hotel.||the bathroom was a disappointment, though it is big in size its functionality, like shower, taps, flush tank were not in normal operation, and perhaps had to do and R&D to use this.||||unfortunately the bed linen was stained, though it was washed, and the attendants immediately replaced the same upon request.||||Restaurant,||unfortunately for a strict vegetarian, their restaurant have a common kitchen offering both Veg & Non Veg, which we are not accustomed to, hearing our plight the owner of this hotel immediately instructed their service staff to procure us strict vegetarian food from a neighbouring VEG restaurant which was done efficiently. ||||since our stay was just a night, and besides its proximity to the temple of Lord Arunachaleswara, we had no major issues.||||Conclusion.||||close to temple, old hotel, done up, bit over priced.

Locality was dirty, people pissing opp to the Hotel's wall which is actually a govt school. Reception area was good but rooms were mediocre. One of the employee who was attending the customers was actually a very disrespectful person. Speaking without respect. The language and slang was foul, not the good form of Tamil

Value for money. The road connecting the hotel to the main road is little rugged but otherwise the amenities in the hotel are very good. It's close to the temple as well. They offer complimentary breakfast as well. Value for money.
