Simple place with clean rooms. We were there for the temple visit and did not bother about other things. Parking is made available for guests near by. Approach road is narrow. Only 500mtr from the entrance gopuram and the big restaurants. Nice location and friendly staff.

Felt Unwelcome – Staff’s Attitude Was Disrespectful and Disappointing I had booked a room at this hotel in Arunachalam with a 12 PM check-in. I reached around 8:30 AM and politely requested an early check-in. The staff informed me it would cost 50% of the room tariff. Since I needed the room only for a couple of hours, I offered ₹500 as a reasonable gesture — not to undervalue their policy, but simply to ask for a bit of flexibility, which any customer has the right to do. Unfortunately, instead of a professional response, I was met with rudeness. The staff member told me, “This is not a lodge, it’s a restaurant,” indirectly implying that I couldn’t afford the room or extra charges — which was unnecessary and offensive. It wasn’t about money at all. It was about the lack of respect and the judgmental tone. When I casually mentioned that many customers simply roam around when early check-in isn’t available, he completely misunderstood me and began accusing me of mocking him. His body language made it clear that he wanted me to leave, and he even told us to go have breakfast elsewhere and come back later — as if deciding what I should do with my time. I had come for a peaceful darshanam of Lord Shiva and did not wish to spoil my spiritual visit by arguing. So, I quietly walked away without even asking for a refund and booked a room at another hotel. Policies are one thing — I respect them. But the tone, attitude, and manner in which guests are spoken to make all the difference. Hospitality starts with humility, and unfortunately, that was missing here. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures their staff treat all guests with basic respect, regardless of circumstance.

Comfortable n clean. But the approach to the Hotel was a little difficult as the roads were very narrow. They have their parking place, so your vehicle is safe. Don't judge by the entrance, the rooms which we booked were good. We had booked Triple bed deluxe a/c rooms. The temple is walkable.

The hotel is near to the temple east rajahopuram within 5 minutes walking distance. Has car parking and the rooms look new and renovated.

Rooms are ok. But the street is very small. Bringing a big Sedan is not advisable. Parking place is about 50 meters from the hotel in a different compound. Lift is very small. No dining in the hotel. Tell the name of Ayyankula Agraharam to local auto drivers for address.

Booked via Agoda and stayed with family. The room is 500m from temple we can go by walk. Room is spacious neat and clean. Toiletries provided. Ample parking available. Lift facility available. Hot water available for bath . Safe and calm to stay with family.

Good location, responsive room service, clean and comfortable room, fast check out. It was an excellent stay. Located very near to temple just walkable distance to temple Main Raja Gopuram and offers quiet surroundings for good rest.We look forward to seeing you again in future. An enjoyable and comfortable stay.

I had a very pleasant experience of staying in Kailasaa Residency. I was upgraded to a superior room during check-in without any additional cost. The room was very clean and the toilet was clean too. Hot water was available and the staff were very helpful. Mr. Arun & Mr. Susai Kumar were very helpful during the stay. I recommend others to stay at Kailasaa Residency.
