Hotel TAJ NIWAS

This is without a doubt the best experience in India, and this is in a city infamous for its terrible hotels. I can't believe how friendly the staff was, and they never asked for tips in return for their kindness, even though we tried to give them many times. Also, with dinner, we thought the price of our stay was 5700 inr, and they said 5500 inr. When we tried to pay 200 inr extra, they downright refused. The food was also the best we have had so far in India. Their Lemon Rice with Chicken Curry and Chapati was definitely the best meal we have had in India. Especially when eaten on their nice balcony. Stay in this hotel. I swear you will thank god, whether you believe in him or not, for having stayed here.

This little hotel was like a haven from Agra. The man running it was so attentive and kind. We arrived hours before check-in and they were very understanding and made the room ready for us immediately. My fiance was very sick with something he ate along the way, and the staff went out for medicine for him and made him tea multiple times, gave advice on which types of food he should eat... So kind. At the end of our trip when we mentioned we needed to exchange currency they even took us on a scooter to a currency exchange place. The food was completely delicious as well and could be delivered to the room for reasonable prices. We are so thankful for our time here.

What a wonderful experience! The staff was so loving and generous to our needs. We had to stay much longer than expected and we were guided in every which way to care unexpected events. We moved to a larger room due to staying longer and needing more space and they graciously accommodated. Very clean and safe environment. I highly recommend this place, the pricing is also outstanding! Thank you so much gentleman. This place will be highly missed. It contributed so much to my India adventure. Love you guys!

Overall it is good! There is a lot of potential here. The rooms are really good, it is just the services and amenities which need to be worked on! The rooms are clean, the showers are good, the place is in a nice quiet area which is relaxing! The things that need improvement are the Wi-Fi and electricity issues, and also communication amongst staff about orders and timings!! otherwise it’s definitely a nice place and people should stay here! definitely give it a go if you are staying in Agra, it’s a nice place.

Staff and owners were very attentive to anything I needed and guided me around the area. They cared for my safety. The hotel was amazing, great air conditioning, comfy rooms, and great pricing. I definitely recommend and I will be back again.

Deluxe Double Room I have stayed here for a few times and I would recommend this place. It is located somewhere peaceful area, behind Shanti Mangalick Hospital, very near to local market and also to the main road. Room : clean, not large room but the distance between TV and bed was perfect, TV was connected to internet and wifi was speedy. Mosquito repellent was provided hanging, AC works during summer, hot water works perfectly too. A pair of sandal/flipflop was provided nearby bathroom and there is a wiper as well. For such a budget room, I couldnt ask for more. Service : the guys at the reception were always helpful, fast response and got the order correctly. Breakfast were good, especially chai & aloo paratha. (+) room dining is available with various kinds of food and not overprice (-) no water bottle provided along with the room (-) no elevator, physical work is required :)

For cleanliness I will give full marks..this hotel usb is its lobby where u can take breakfast..but a point where I feel that one star is deducted I.e no dustbin is provided in the rooms..a small is in washroom but no dustbin in the rooms..
