Taj Niwas Homestay

Deluxe Double Room I have stayed here for a few times and I would recommend this place. It is located somewhere peaceful area, behind Shanti Mangalick Hospital, very near to local market and also to the main road. Room : clean, not large room but the distance between TV and bed was perfect, TV was connected to internet and wifi was speedy. Mosquito repellent was provided hanging, AC works during summer, hot water works perfectly too. A pair of sandal/flipflop was provided nearby bathroom and there is a wiper as well. For such a budget room, I couldnt ask for more. Service : the guys at the reception were always helpful, fast response and got the order correctly. Breakfast were good, especially chai & aloo paratha. (+) room dining is available with various kinds of food and not overprice (-) no water bottle provided along with the room (-) no elevator, physical work is required :)

For cleanliness I will give full marks..this hotel usb is its lobby where u can take breakfast..but a point where I feel that one star is deducted I.e no dustbin is provided in the rooms..a small is in washroom but no dustbin in the rooms..

It was very nice stay in taj niwas with my friends.room was very clean . Staffs and owner was very friendly nature. There food was very delicious. They take mim 45min to prepare food . Hotel is little bit 100mtr far from the main road.I will love to go again.

The place is very beautiful, clean, and well-organized. The hotel staff and owners are kind and helpful, and the accommodation is affordable. I stayed there with a group of 3 friends for three days, and the stay was pleasant, with tidy rooms and very cooperative staff. Each room has a big bed, a strong AC, a proper closet, and fresh towels There was also a beautiful terrace where we enjoyed a lovely evening. The location is close to all tourist attractions, and the hotel can arrange discounted tours as well as taxi services.

Hotel is passable but the aircon was not working, windows where not closing properly and most importantly they overcharged us. I would avoid

Location is quiet and the rooms are bigger. The owners were nice. The staff didn't really speak English, so when we ordered our breakfast, he didn't understand us well and gave more bread. The owner still charged us for this which was unfortunate, otherwise our stay would have been perfect. The cleanliness is better than Indian standards. There were stains on the bedsheets, but this is common in India. It's a good quality/value place for a few nights.

Fair price-quality. Would not expect more from a 15euro room per night. Not the cleanest, but okay. Loud noise on the street, if you look for a quiet place, this might not be the best option for you. Friendly hosts and very helpful.
