Hotel Taj Sojourn

The hotel has very good and comfortable infrastructure. It is in a good location, which made it very easy to use taxis or ride-sharing apps. The meals prepared in the hotel kitchen are very tasty! We loved everything we ate! The room service staff were very polite, helpful, attentive and welcoming to us. The mosquitoes we saw in the room came in through the bathroom window more than through the bedroom door. Therefore, we just had to close the bathroom door and we would be free of the mosquitoes in the room. The hotel receptionist needs to improve his fluency in English to make it easier to communicate with foreign guests and avoid unnecessary misunderstandings. On a few occasions, the receptionist did not demonstrate the professionalism required for the position he holds. He was rude in his actions and words. My husband and I were very uncomfortable and disappointed with the way the receptionist treated us. While we were waiting for the Uber, at the hotel reception, a man who appeared to be part of the family that owns the hotel or the management (since he walked freely around the area reserved for employees) sat down next to us in an extremely informal manner, which was inappropriate for a hotel reception. This man sat next to us, putting his feet up on the sofa, and started talking loudly on his cell phone while picking at his toenails. This man's actions were inappropriate and very rude, as they occurred in the hotel reception and in front of guests. The hotel receptionist did not intervene in the situation. He simply ignored what was happening next to us. Another employee, who appeared to be the hotel manager, saw this situation, but also did nothing. It is sad to see a hotel with so much potential for hospitality, gastronomy and economy receive bad reviews due to the lack of education and professionalism of a very few people.

I stayed at the hotel with my family for 6 days, and I must say, we had very good experience. The property is nearby Taj Mahal, metro station and malls. The over all locality is also fine. Their room service was commendable and whole staff was very friendly. I'll recommend this hotel to all families because it's quite safe and affordable and gives consumers its utmost priority.

The rooms & facilities are fine. However the treatment & attitude from the manager was despicable. Apparently it's acceptable to impose your own vegetarian beliefs onto your guests? The pathetic excuse of a "manager" literally grabbed my food, yelled at me and tossed it away. The poor delivery boy felt so bad that he offered me to use his motorcycle as an impromptu "table" so I could eat. However after that chaotic scenario, I no longer had an appetite. These people should be reported to the Agra tourism board for their hostile behavior. I'm sure their Public Relations team will probably deny this ever happened. But CCTV doesn't lie. Nor does the other 6 or 7 reviewers who experienced the same hostile treatment.

I really enjoyed my staying here. The rooms are clean and the service and staffs are also nice. You can view Taj Mahal from the rooftop of the hotel.

Very neat and clean room. Price is also affordable. Pleasant area, no crowd. Strongly recommend , they charge money in advance but this is not an issue. I stayed there on 8 October 2024.

There was I issue in hotwater. It takes 20-30 mins to get hot water of one bucket. Apart from this rooms were clean and staff was polite.

The 4.5 rating which they are maintaining is fake. I will never forget the horrific experience we had there. I visited this hotel with my 2 kids and family of elderly ladies. I was actually under the impression of 24 hrs stay from check in time to check out time at hotel. We checked in the night before and nobody even bothered to inform the checkout is at the next day morning. We requested to keep our luggage in the reception untill we come back from the Taj mahal visit. An argument erupted and the owner and staff showed their rowdy characters. One of the staff got big sticks to attack us. They didn't even think of small children and elderly ladies. Later police were called and we had to settle the matter. My son is still haunted by that day and is afraid to travel anywhere. This could have been avoided given the hotel owner and his staff behaved with some sense and patience.

Horrible experience The behaviour of the staff was very bad this is home stay not hotel not allowed outside food nonveg I order my food from Zomato but staff bol rha h hmare yha outside food allowed nhi h ap bahar kha lo ja k park me yha pr received bhi nhi kr sakte h All five star reviews are paid Don't book this hotel
