The Taj Crown Hotel Agra

What if u pay so much of money then see lizard in washroom( lizard in photo). Have to stay in such room for 1 whole day. We asked for change of room then all of sudden all room got full and no substitute. It was working day, still room got full. Secondly as we were 3 adults and they provided us with one extra matress, in middle of the night in deep sleep water started pouring from the AC on me as i was sleeping under the AC system. Still no substitute room available. Thirdly i asked for hot water for bath, they didnt had continuous supply of hot water, they was providing bucket by bucket. No fridge in the room. Its a big no to stay in this hotel

The overall ambience was decent, but there were several issues during my stay. I had booked a room with a bathtub, only to later discover that it wasn’t functional because the tap handle had been removed. It might be better to opt for a standard room instead. Hot water was also inconsistent throughout my stay, and some of the switches weren’t working properly. In order to keep the fan running, the lights also had to be on. The bathroom had a leak, with water constantly accumulating near the sink. Additionally, the hotel is located near a fruit and vegetable market, which feels unsafe and adds to the noise in the area.

We can appreciate the cleanliness of the bedsheets and the availability of entertainment options like YouTube on the TV. However, some guests have reported minor issues such as toilet odors and noisy fans. Restaurants- The on-site restaurant offers a decent buffet breakfast with options like corn flakes, milk, poha, paratha, omelette, bread, butter, and jam. The restaurant service to be prompt and the food reasonably priced. Location- Situated near Vishal Mega Mart on Fatehabad Road, the hotel is approximately 2 km from the Taj Mahal’s eastern gate, making it a convenient base for tourists. However, its proximity to a vegetable market can result in early morning noise, which might be a consideration for light sleepers. Staff Behavior- Consistent praise for the hotel’s staff for their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate needs, contributing positively to the overall experience. Amenities- The hotel offers basic amenities, including: • Wi-Fi • Air-conditioned rooms • Room service • On-site restaurant However, some areas for improvement, such as the need for better maintenance and modernized infrastructure. Final Verdict- Hotel The Taj Crown offers a comfortable stay with its clean rooms and attentive staff. While there are minor areas for improvement, its proximity to the Taj Mahal and reasonable pricing make it a solid choice for travelers visiting Agra.

Excellent hotel. Friendly clean and helpful. With an elevator. Easy walk to Taj Mahal. Plenty of shops near by. Nice roof terrace to relax on while eating and drinking. |Plenty of near by restaurants. |Hotel is nice and clean. Also offer friendly advice on tuk tuk and taxi fares. Will arrange taxi for you.

We stayed in the Taj Vista for 2 nights. Absolutely wonderful experience, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, accessible for tea/coffee etc. Very central to the main attractions in the area - Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Agra.

Worst Experience !!! We had booked the room in advance and got confirmation a day prior to our visit.Still the hotel staff refused to give us rooms saying we are full and since we have paid advance they had another hotel where they accommodated us.Now this “Grand Empire” hotel which is under construction has been offered to us on the cost of our booking in Taj crown plaza ,which has No Wifi , no working TV not even AC working. Rooms were unclean even they did not provide fresh linens and Towel.After multiple times changing the rooms they finally given a room with at least AC working. The breakfast booked prior but there were literally no options for it too.(Alu-Puri + Poha). Highly Disappointed!!!

A great find and only 18 minutes walk from the Taj Mahal. |We stayed just 1 night & it was perfect for our needs. Very clean room and with comfortable bed. Friendly & helpful staff and we returned to a simple but lovely breakfast after our sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. |The owner had recently taken over & was very attentive. He took us up to show us the roof level which is currently not used but is soon to be opened as a roof top terrace with seating, tables planters & outside lighting. Why wouldn’t you! |Thank you.

Our stay was perfect and on walking distance from the Taj Mahal, it is in the centre of Agra, lots of shops are closeby. Hotel staff is very friendly and ready to help us all the time, bteakfast was really good actually. You also can make a train and bus reservation at the reception
