OYO Hotel Ssj International Near Sahara Ganj Mall

I stayed 4 night's at this hotel, and am quite happy to recommend it as a place to stay. It's a handy 15 min walk from the rail station. Located in the hustle and bustle of the rail district. The room was large enough with cleaning done everyday. The staff were friendly and helpful with extra attention provided by the manager. Very helpful with train tickets, advice for the city. A restaurant onsite provides nice food whether it be room service or in the resturant itself. Otherwise there's plenty of street food and resturant's in the surrounding area. Also a bar 5 min away for a cold beer and air conditioning. I tried the different indian breakfasts each morning which I found sufficient for myself. Transport can be easily found at the entrance for seeing the various sights around the city. The only downside and reason for the 4 star and not 5 is the hot water situation. The boiler is only on for a few hours in the morning, which means an early start or after a day out in the heat, the only option is a cold shower. A hotel which has alot going for it needs to be able to provide 24 hour hot water. This is the first hotel in India that I've stayed in that wasn't able to provide this. A situation that needs to be rectified I feel. Overall though I was happy with my experience in staying here.

Rooms are pretty small but tidy. food is okay. The manager of hotel is very rude in fact I wondered why do they have name international. I had to check out at 0800hrs and my friends visited to pick me up. The manager said that visiter time is 0900 to 2100 and I have violated the same & said he is not doing a social service and have opened hotel to earn profit. He asked for the extra charges saying that my friends had used washroom for refreshing. Even I had not asked for my complementary breakfast. Though I did not argue with him as I was getting late but manager or so called owner is rude. Let him earn profits by giving petty services!

Hotels in Lucknow are largely observed as Over Priced.||This is a mid budget Hotel near Railway Station.||You can stay here with family. OYO booking is also feasible.||Good Bed with daily upgradation, though rooms are smaller and without Windows.||Airconditioning & Hot water are superb.||The old manager is apparently tough but inside he is very sensitive to all your needs, particularly what you have requested him. For any doubts about anything pertaining to Lucknow, ask him you shall realise it was beneficial.||Dinning hall is extremely good. Food & Service are even better.||The best Hotel around Railway Station.

It was a short stay . Room is above average.food is also good but unfortunately I couldn't get the complementary breakfast as I had to leave early at 7 am. Breakfast is served after 7.30.|Staff is cooperative.|Overall it was nice

Although rooms are good. There's a general tenancy of denying the services. Free Wi-Fi was essential feature - reception fellow says he shall talk to Managing Director and revert. Similarly they denied breakfast which was otherwise part of package.

One of the worst places I had ever stayed. The reception staff in evening does not know anything about hospitality and neither they know how to treat customers. Food is below average. The pictures available online are misleading and rooms are very small and average. Won't come again and neither will I recommend anyone.

OK hotel.Staff needs to be given a crash course in maintenance. Room was Ok,linen was clean and hot water was available.Owner personally takes care. If he is present in reception then any problem which one might face is easily sorted out.

Clean, quiet room, though very small and no windows. Will be very stuffy in summer without a/c even for a short time. Cheap for the location, though, right next to Charbagh railway station. But stay only if you have to catch a train: otherwise, the surroundings are overcrowded, noisy and not too clean, and best given a miss. Staff friendly and helpful.
