We stayed for 3 days in the hotel as part of our Kumbh Mela visit. Hotel is in good and peaceful location. It appears to be a palace but not. It is in existence since pre-independence days (1890) known as Hotel Barnett. It is nostalgic hotel but can be modernized (facilities can be upgraded) Rooms are clean. Food (limited range/dishes) and Service are excellent. Food is served in the room as the hotel does not have a restaurant. Friendly hotel staff. Overall a good stay at the hotel.

I visited Allahabad during the Shahi Snan date of the ongoing Kumbh Mela. We chose to stay here as it seemed a very peaceful place and in the middle of the main market area. We were really happy with our choice . The hotel is beautifully kept and the heritage character is well preserved. It was very near to all the important places in the city. The kumbh mela area was about 5 km and we could get a cab easily. ||The service was very good and the staff seemed very friendly and caring. ||Overall a lovely stay at Hotel Harsh Ananda

I along with my family recently stayed here . Our main purpose was to experience the Kumbh Mela and we needed a comfortable place to relax and rest in the evenings and night. The rates were a little hiked due to the Kumbh Mela but that was same with all the other hotels as well. During our stay in Allahabad we visited couple of Tourist Tent sites as well and we were very happy that we chose to stay at Harsh Ananda instead .||Food was good and rooms neat and clean . I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Allahabad.

This property is a glorified lodge. Apart from supporting staff every aspect is hopeless. Then so called breakfast hall is a dirty hall. The tariff is 7000Rs plus. Breakfast menu is only poha and Puri bhaji and a tea with bread and butter. Plates and othe utensils are dirty. In the whole hotel, I could see only 4 people, 2 at reception and 2 elsewhere running around Helping the guests .The rooms are not made every day, I had to shout at them in the evening after seeing the shabby room. No hand towels in the bathroom, bath towels are not replaced daily. No kettle in the room, the plug point were not working. Bathroom is really dirty, it was also not cleaned daily as apart of housekeeping job. I do not know who gave 4 star ratatouille this property. I will give zero rating to this property. Rather than spend so much money, I would rather really stay in a lodge. It’s a dirty place, really.

Stayed at this hotel for one night and thought it was good for Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad). Good location for exploring the local market and street side shops. We only need one nights stay and found this adequate for our requirements. Breakfast was good but with limited range of offerings. There was no swimming pool nor a gym.

Hotel has a good lawn for marriage parties. Located right in the Civil Lines area.Service is average and staff totally unprofessional.Room size was also very small but OK for a single person. Bathroom toiletries were not upto the mark.No breakfast buffet so limited choice. OK TYPE EXPERIENCE
