Hotel Sahu

I booked a non-AC room for two nights at ₹2100 per night, but it was a terrible experience. The room was dirty, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, and there was no geyser for hot water. The staff was very rude and misbehaved when I asked for basic things like clean towels. They were not helpful at all and didn’t care about guests. For ₹2100 per night, this hotel is not worth it. Bad service, dirty rooms, and rude staff. I regret booking for two nights. Not recommended!

Only good think about the hotel is its location. Else everything was the worst. The service was very very poor. We asked for a towel, they didn't provide that at all. Room was not property cleaned. You will not get hot water all time. They are charging around 3k without providing nothing. I would suggest everyone to avoid this hotel if you can.

I had an awful experience at this hotel. The room was unclean, with visible dirt and dust on surfaces, making it clear that proper cleaning had not been done. The bed sheets were untidy and looked as though they hadn't been changed in a while. To make matters worse, although the hotel claims to provide hot water through a geyser, it didn’t work during my stay. The check-in time was 1 pm, but even after arriving on time, I had to wait much longer for the room to be ready. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

This pictures are the window of the room in which we stayed in nights of January. Conditions of the ceiling was full of damp. There are no attached bathroom in rooms which is very problematic for ladies family members. Services of the hotel staff is very bad. Rooms are empty yet the manager will not give rooms to us.The only positive thing about this hotel is its location. Pls do not book this hotel you will get better hotel than this

Worst experience of my life. Staff behaviour is awful. Does not maintain the checkin timing themselves. Had to wait 2+ hours just to get the rooms, which are a disaster themselves. Disgusting bathrooms, no cleaning, unclean bedsheets, blankets and pillow covers. Overall will never recommend to anyone. An immediate police report against this hotel should filed, for spreading of false information and earning a profit off it.

Disappointing Stay at Hotel Sahu I recently had the misfortune of staying at Hotel Sahu, and I must warn others to avoid this hotel at all costs. *Issues with Booking and Staff Behavior* - The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional during the booking process. - They gave us a room that we didn't book and disrespected us multiple times. - We were forced to pay double the price due to lack of other options. - They demanded 100% advance payment, which is unacceptable. *Poor Room Condition* - The room was filthy, with dirty bedsheets, a leaking AC, and a disgusting bathroom. - The bedsheet was torn, the plastic table was broken, and there was no sink for washing hands or face. - We requested clean bedsheets, but our request was ignored. - The staff didn't provide water despite repeated requests. *Unacceptable Staff Behavior* - The front desk staff was rude, clumsy, and unhelpful. - They refused to provide an extra blanket, saying it wasn't cold enough. - They asked uncomfortable personal questions. - The staff seemed to not care about the guests' comfort or needs. *Forced to Stay and Check-Out Drama* - We were too tired to find another hotel and had to stay in the awful room. - At check-out, they tried to charge us an additional ₹500, claiming the price wasn't agreed upon. They dont even provide you a Bill so that they dont have to pay GST. They have absolute Goon’s. *Final Thoughts* Avoid Hotel Sahu at all costs. The bad service, rude staff, dirty rooms, and overpriced rates will ruin your trip. Only consider this hotel if you have no other options left.

We booked this property online , my maternal aunt recommended it as they usually stayed at this place during their visit to Varanasi. However the experience was not good this time, firstly the hotel receptionist denied that there was any booking even though I showcased him and the manager said the booking may be fake as well as they recently got some fake booking from mmt. I took the agoda customer care on call and also got a confirmation that it has been confirmed by the property. But still it took them 30 mins to process it and find out that booking is there. Really bad experience. Room was allocated 20 mins prior to checkin , after multiple requests. We were even ready to bear early checking charge but they kept us waiting for the exact time. Thankfully we got it 20 mins priorly Room was not worthy at all for the price paid, 6800 for two premium room and the room was very small with dampness around the well and a foul smell in one of the room, the bathroom was really small and toilet was like one we normally found in sulabh sochalaya. One of rooms did not had the almirah to keep the cloths, the other room was though better in that sense. There was no kettle in the room for hot water and no geyser either , hot water came from tap after two three buckets Only plus point about the property is the location, it is located just 800 meters from the main temple enterance of Kashi vishwanath mandir and the market and eat out area around it, probably that's what they want the price for. There was one more problem in the property, too much noise from around , so a silent sleep in peak business hours is a distant dream at this place. Service and room standards need to improve. It does not sounded to us like a premium room at all.

1.Booking Issue: We booked a double-bed room 15 days in advance but got a bunk bed room instead. After waiting 30 minutes, they said the double-bed room was given to someone else. We were too tired to argue and had to take it. 2.Room Condition: The room was filthy—dirty bedsheets, leaking AC, disgusting bathroom, and broken amenities. We asked for clean bedsheets but got nothing after waiting hours. The staff didn’t care at all. 3.Staff Behavior: The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful when we asked again for clean bedsheets at 9 PM. It felt like they couldn’t care less about the guests. 4.Forced to Stay: By 11 PM, we were too tired to find another hotel and had to stay in that awful room. It ruined our trip. 5.Check-Out Drama: At check-out, they tried to charge us ₹80 for water we didn’t buy. After arguing, they finally marked it “invalid.” It was just the cherry on top of a horrible stay. Final Thoughts: Stay away from this hotel. Bad service, rude staff, and dirty rooms will ruin your trip.
