Golden lodge varanasi

It is very Near to Gate no. 2 of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. As this is in Gully of Varanasi so do not expect a rickshaw or auto reach at the property location. By walking from main road it is accessible to hotel And Yes as mentioned in earlier reviews Location is incorrect on Map - Owner should focus on this. OverAll rooms are very good for stay near to hotel. I am not sure why other are expecting much more rich property in low price. Staff is very good. For me it was Nice Stay.

Had booked this place in a hurry but man did it turn out to be a pleasant surprise. The place is as central as a hotel can get in this city with the temple being just about 50 meters from the property. The ghats are about a 100 meters l, give or take 50. The staff was super friendly. Add to that, all the add-on services like over-the-counter cab bookings and the stay couldn’t have been smoother. In all, a great place to stay in a budget.

Supremely comfortable rooms. Budget friendly. Location is prime. Really liked rhe atmosphere and the staff was super helpful. The locality is nice, all the temples are closeby including Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Overall a good stay here.

My experience is very terrible. I traveled with my parents and my sisters. Golden lodge is very far and not easy to find the direction there are no proper hotel board mentioned to follow the direction. We reached at 2:30pm we asked everyone no one knows where is golden lodge even though showing the address and map location. In the heavy sunlight no water no food I took my hungry parents somehow and my dad is heart patient I was literally scared along with that we were carrying four big luggage bag. by searching and asking everyone we reached one big long gully area we walked throughout the gully for searching the lodge my sister about to faint with tiredness and stress we arranged water by the time we reached hotel it was 6pm. And once we reach the hotel the manager was telling the room which you booked is not available now. I was literally devasted one side my parents are suffering and another side my both sisters. I booked this room 8 months before visiting kashi and i paid 2115rs and that room is for 5members with shared bathroom. And now he was telling not available and giving me option to pay extra 1100rs and will give another good room with private bathroom. And he was telling you booked through Make my trip u applied discount and Make my trip will eat commission and I will not get amount by saying this that manager and that owner only stealed money from me. Before coming to Kashi to confirm the booking he was very rude and don't have manners to speak with girls. Anyhow by seeing my parents and sisters situation none of the options left to me I paid extra 1100rs. so altogether I paid 3215rs. After that as we checkin in the evening 6pm on the previous day after lot of struggling with the address next day morning 11am he is telling to vacate us what a nonsense people don't value for money as well as humanity before 24 hrs he is telling to vacate us if not they will charge again 3215rs. After that we vacated again we booked another lodge which is easy to shift. In the midnight 2am also one couples were fighting with him for the rooms which they booked already but he gave to the another guest for extra money. This experience is very painful physically and mentally.

Nice place to stay. The staff's helpful, it's centrally located and the rooms are clean. What more can one ask for from a budget establishment? In house coffee is a must try! Strongly recommend it to those seeking a cozy yet pocket friendly stay in Kashi.

Very good stay. Owner is very sweet and helpful. Hotel staff also very nice. Location is also very convenient. Hotel located in the center of the main market. Rooms are a little bit small but clean. Bathrooms are also clean. They also give soap and shampoo for customer.

Place is very near to temple and ghat.Option of internet and waiting is there.Tiny dinning room is also there.Negotiate properly for your room.Dont fall to buttering words . Your money is hard earned money.if you want to sugam darshan ho for temple trust sites dont fall for any other means.

Worst experience 1. When we reached here, we were given very dirty rooms in the name of homestay with dampness which smelled very bad. 2. For these dirty smelly rooms the price was also high. Think twice before paying for these dirty rooms. Better hotels are available at a lower price than this. 3. Think 100 times before going here. It is being given 1 star also because it is near the temple. 4. If you still consider booking here, ask for recent room pictures before booking. GOLDEN LODGE - WHICH WAS NOT GOLDEN AT ALL. Save your money, this lodge is golden only in name! Nothing golden here except the disappointment. Overall, we do not recommend this place.
