booked hotel on booking.com. Arrived and staff was very rude and reception smelt like piss. Got told we cannot stay there but no explanation. Would not recommend

Terrible experience at this hotel! If any trip of my life has been ruined, it's this so-called City Guest House in Banaras. On the first day, during check-in, the receptionist forcefully took full payment without showing us the room which is in cash. We had booked two rooms, but they insisted on giving us only one, with an attached room that had no door, and a shared bathroom. The moment we entered, the unbearable stench and filth overwhelmed us—the room was in disarray, with food scattered on a small coffee table, dirty bed sheets, smelly pillows, and wall stains. Cigarette butts were found in the bathroom, indicating a lack of cleanliness. We repeatedly asked the staff to clean the bathroom, change the bed sheets, and provide extra blankets due to the cold, but they rudely ignored our requests. Suddenly, the lights went out, and when we tried to open the window, we found beer cans outside. When we complained and requested a refund, the receptionist behaved rudely and refused to refund our money. After a lengthy argument, they finally changed our room but only cleaned it after further insistence. I strongly advise against recommending this filthy and terrible hotel, especially for those traveling with family or friends, particularly females and children. Safety is a major concern, with no privacy, creepy individuals, and a lack of basic amenities such as TV, Wi-Fi, drinking water, toiletries, towels, No space for movement. No cupboard for cloths and no housekeeping at all. Considering the hefty charges imposed by this place, it's clear that you can find much better hotels for the same price. Avoid this place at all costs!

Stayed there for a night. Room is spacious but other amenities are absent. Plumbing problems are there in bath, which made this stay quite irritating and unforgettable. You can get only potable water, I'm not sure about source of water, as for room service. By the way one can find few eateries nearby and walk for a lunch or dinner. Location is good, on main road, quiet surroundings and easily approachable. Bit overpriced as per amenities and services.

Room inside was OK but outside room in passage was not clean. No space for movement. No cupboard for cloths. No attached toilet. Common toilet was not cleaned. Wash basin was also not clean. Not at all a convenient location. In guest house room no arrangement for water, no arrangement for breakfast/ tea. No nearby restaurants for early breakfast.

It was worst ever experience with OYO across India.. I had been premium member of OYO in 2018 and used several times in last 8 years of tenure.. I am highly disappointed and unsatisfied from such worst like anything class experience till date. It was like a cheating and fraud to any of OYO customer coming out there and the live feedback taken from other guests who came to this property by booking through OYO. Everyone was experiencing ditched from OYO out there. Actual Reasons are in detail. 1. This property was 11 KMs from Railway Station instead of written 4 KMs while booking this Hotel Guest House. This is sort of cheating to customer. People have to pay 500 Rs to reach from hotel to city and Kashi temple, which was directly hitting pocket. 2. There is no room service given at all. No water supply, no Soap in washrooms etc. 3. There was committed AC rooms while booking but in actual there was only fans in the room. 4. I have booked 2 rooms with 4 pax and 2 room with 6 pax occupancy thus in total 4 rooms 10 pax but we have been given just 2 rooms instead of 4 rooms. 5. This property is programmed for using in Birthday, Anniversary, Party celebration which is also written out on front side under flax banner but this has got converted into OYO City P Guest House which is like a fraud. 6. There is no other like feeling Hotel rather it was just a party house. 7. There is no lift in the property. 8 Working staff was so illiterate and never have been given training of how to serve hotel industry. 9. It was like a hell experience all together. 10 we have to suffer a lot.

We have to file the police complaint to get check in they are denying check in and saying we don't have tie up with Oyo. Security in guest house very poor even the rooms are not have windows with lock. I will never recommend this guest house bto anyone worst experience . pathetic illiterate staff with no manners at all .

Very poor hotel It's basically a lodge where people come only for one thing for an hour or two. Dirty rooms ... Pillows with lipsticks mark... Dirty walls They don't have a audocity to agree to change the bedsheet.
