Very Bad Rooms Not Cleaned Floor and All the bedsheets are very Dusty No TV No Reception contact no. Is Connecting If you want Water or anything you have to go Downstairs nd fill it by yourself No Online Credit Debit Card payment system while booking they have written for the All the types of payment but after reaching no online payment system Old Type Room Bathroom not Clean I Suggest not to Go Book Any other Hotel

Horrible and very worst hotel in varanasi ....staff are very bad here ...they are hidden camera also in there particular rooms and they have charge more than you booked status

It is very near to Varanasi Junction Railway Station. Overall Okish rooms and washrooms can be much much better. Staff was very nice and we stayed there because of thier helpful nature only.

Good for family stay & meeting purpose. You get average facilities at average budget price. You can not feel that you inside the 5star hotel. Service is also good. Hygiene full environment with CCTV securities.

Not impressed by service. I paid for double bed and got single bed rood. Bed sheet was torned and towel was like mopping sheet(very dirty and shabby). They serve tap water in bislery bottle, and believe me its not fit for drinking. Color of water in pale yellow which can be easily seen.

This was my 1st visit to the holy Varanasi and it turned into a disaster(for half a day,that is until I checked out from this property) courtesy this hotel(it's not even a hotel..It is a guest house).I want to save other tourists from going through the same hassle and stress that I had been through via my review.So,let's get started.|Pros-|The property is located at a stone thrown distance from cantt railway station and bus stop.||Cons(I request you guys to please grab a cup of tea/coffee/drinks and some nibbles as the list of cons is long!)-|1.The name of tis property on the websites is ' new ashiyana palace' but don't be mislead by the name.Once you reach the property(which is inside a dingy and downtrodden lane that has stray dogs running around rubbish scattered all over it),you will be welcomed with a shabby entrance and a board that says'ashiyana guest house'.when I questioned the property owner(Mr.Gupta) his response was that this was a guest house but now it's a hotel.If that was the case,why didn't they update the name in the website and booking sites?The name on the website is simply a trap for innocent tourists.|2.The room was really dirty and ugly looking.Bedsheets had stains on them.Toilet was dirty.Basic stuff like a rubbish bin was not provided.The website claimed that they will provide toiletries ,towels etc but there was nothing.Not even an intercom to call the reception(wait a minute,there was no reception!!!The manager asked me to call him on his mobile number if I need anything!Like seriously?).There were 2 beds(I had booked a deluxe 4 seater),blanket(that looked dirty ),a dirty table and a torn couch.|When I asked for towels the staff member bought one towel(for 4 adults) that was not even clean.It was a used towel that had a yucky smell.They even charged me for distilled water and when I questioned them that isn't the bottle complimentary,the response was tap water is complimentary not distilled water.You gotta be kidding me!I was appalled by the response.|3.I have a small baby and I dint find it either hygienic or safe to stay in this downtrodden property.So,after staying there for about 5 hours and searching for another nice hotel nearby,I decided to leave the property.When I asked them to give me receipt for the payment (I had already paid for 1 day in cash as they don't have a provision to pay by card) they dint provide it.They said whatever receipt I had received while making the booking from booking.com was the receipt that is available.|Let me take this opportunity to alert the readers that this property owner doesn't accept card payment.It is an only cash property.In the times of demonetization and when our PM wants us to go cashless,this one deals only in cash and doesn't provide a receipt.Not sure why is that so if not for some ulterior motive that the manager has .|4.I was staying in a room on the 1st floor .The manager had shown me two rooms and mentioned that one had air conditioner but no geyser and the other one had geyser but no air conditioner.I have travelled the world but have hardly come across a 'hotel' that claims to be tourist friendly with all amenities to be provided to their customers(on the website) with such a 'chose one of the two -geyser or air conditioner' condition imposed on its residents.|5.The staff was not professional.There was one Mr Gupta who is the owner of the property who was present inside the property at the time of check in.After that he simply vanished(afterall the prey was trapped.!!).Apart from that there was a staff member sitting at the reception who had no clue as to what was happening around him and two bell boys who ogled at me at every possible opportunity.Beware ladies who are travelling alone.This place is definitely not for you.I dint find it safe to stay there and would not recommend it to other travellers too.|6.Whenever I questioned the manager and staff about the false claims they had made on the website (about cleanliness,bed lines,towels,free Wi-Fi,basic amenities),their response was 'its under construction'.I mean seriously?How can you cheat innocent customers and travellers by posting fake pictures on the website and giving incorrect information?If it's under construction then close the property,renovate and then open/post the details on the website.why fool others?This treachery in a place that preaches about karma and bad/good deeds!!I'm shocked!|This is a sincere request from one traveller to another.Even if you are running out of places to stay ,please don't stay here.|I wish TripAdvisor had an option to give negative(less than 0 rating).I would have give them minus10.

Good location. Value for money. Good staff behaviour. Overall worthy experience.
