My recent stay at the Regency Hotel turned out to be a complete nightmare that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. My fiancé and I were seeking a relaxing two-night stay, but unfortunately, this hotel managed to sour our experience from the very start. We settled for the Regency out of exhaustion and a lack of other immediate options. Our plan was simple: if we didn't like it, we would move to another hotel the next day. However, the regret began as soon as we stepped into the place. The staff showed us rooms in three different categories, priced at 1200, 1500, and 1800. These so-called categories appeared to be nothing more than the same subpar accommodations with slightly varied layouts. The first impression was overwhelmingly disappointing. A foul odor filled the air, and the lack of proper ventilation was evident. The air conditioning system made more noise than cooling, adding to the discomfort. But what truly crossed the line was the appalling state of the room. The bed sheets were not only dirty but had visible blood stains on them. It was a level of uncleanliness that was hard to comprehend. Before even entering the room, I knew it wasn't suitable. I immediately expressed my dissatisfaction to the receptionist and the hotel's staff, who were present at that time. Despite not setting foot inside the room, I was determined not to stay there. Upon returning to the reception to settle the formalities, I communicated my decision to the receptionist. What followed was a truly disappointing interaction with the hotel owner. The owner showed no concern for our dissatisfaction and refused to acknowledge the unhygienic conditions we were subjected to. Instead, he attempted to charge us 900 rupees, citing that our check-in had been recorded in their system. To make matters worse, he even proposed an additional payment to upgrade to a better room. It was a blatant attempt to extract more money from us. After a night of battling mosquitoes and the cacophony of a malfunctioning air conditioner, we had enough. We decided to cut our losses and find a new hotel for the remainder of our stay. The overall experience at Regency Hotel was horrendous, leaving us sleep-deprived, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointed. The lack of supportive staff was evident throughout my stay. It seemed like the hotel was more interested in accommodating unmarried couples seeking private moments rather than providing a respectable and comfortable stay for all guests. This made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unwelcoming. What makes this experience even worse is the fact that they had the audacity to charge me 1200 for such a subpar(घटिया) room. The value for money was nonexistent, and I feel like I was ripped off. In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering the Regency Hotel to steer clear, It's a complete waste of money and time. The deplorable state of the rooms, lack of hygiene, indifferent staff, and the owner's shameless money-focused attitude make this place an absolute nightmare to stay in. Learn from my regretful experience and look for alternative accommodations that offer the comfort and respect you deserve during your travels. Worst service.. TV is not working.. Not clean room. Service is very poor by staff.. Itna bekar hotel haldwani m ni hoga

Unkept rooms, really bad service, use other accommodation options, which are cheaper and much better. Would definitely not recommend.

When i go there by the map the hotel is closed and i called them then no one picked up
