Excellent, commendable experience at our stay in the Shining hills Hotel. Staff members and managers are enormously polite,co-operative,helpful and hospitable. Food is awesome immensely flavoursome. Very good amenities. Very neat and clean. Keep it up with your enrichment!

We had a wonderful two-day stay at the Shining Hills Hotel last week. The rooms feature balconies with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, adding a special touch to our experience. The quality of the rooms and the complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations, especially given the hotel's hill station location. The support staff, including Supervisor Sunil Chaudhary, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! One suggestion would be to add more signage along the route to the hotel to make it easier to find.

A good deal if u can get the rooms under 2.5k with breakfast. We booked two super deluxe room with balcony. Rooms were small compared with peers. valley view from the balcony was obstructed by a large transformer from both rooms. My friend complaint abt bad smell from balcony in the morning hours. atmosphere is calm. Better to give in house food a miss .

Rooms were decently maintained however bathroom was small. Sonia Thapli at the reception was excellent in her job. She was really helpful at all times. Food was good too but price was way too much. Location is breathtaking .

My Parents stayed here for 1 night yesterday, rooms were neat and clean. But the service is worst. The food provided for dinner which was included in the package was worst and burnt. They were not even providing extra blanket for the driver and the food as well. Every hotel we stayed throughout our trip provided food for the driver as it was included in the package. The breakfast was also not good! Overall ok ok experience. Will not book or visit again!

Easily a one star hotel. Hotel rooms are not clean. Location is nowhere near mussoorie. The road to reach the hotel is extremely narrow and no one will find without help from hotel staff. Breakfast is always delayed. They say 8 am but all items come only after 9. The service of breakfast is slow and refill takes a long time . You will not want to book it unless a travel agent forces you to book this hotel.

Please don’t go by the reviews, I repeat please don’t go by the reviews. The worst 2 days of our lives we experienced on this hotel. Let me start with the accessibility to reach there, there is no proper way to reach there, there are 3 ways, one they claim is for the 2 wheelers, which we couldn’t explore, the 2nd was very steep, don’t go through it if you don’t have 4 wheel drive, and the 3rd one was very narrow to the extent that even if one bike is coming from opposite direction you would have to take back, because local people never do. Now let me come to the hotel, the rooms were nightmare, the bed sheet were dirty, the quilt cover was dirty, the washroom was smelling like hell, there was one wall fan, everything just felt like rotting in the room. And the worst part was we paid 4500 rupees for that kabootarkhana, as it was peak season. And when we complained about it all the staff kept explaining that everything was fine you are not only customers in hotel, no body have any issues with us. But we still managed as all the reviews were about how great the food was, so we came next morning to the buffet. Now the food was just the worst ever experience in a hotel, we asked for omelettes and they just denied that it is not their menu today, even though the other table was eating the same, so they started saying that they are not from here and they are paying separately, and we were just given boiled eggs with some over spicy pasta and over spicy parantha. Even though the other table were staying at the same hotel but slightly costlier rooms. The staff were very rude, they even charged for 5 water bottles that we didn’t even order, and one bisleri water bottle costed 42 rupees with 2 rupees tax. Every penny we paid for that hotel was just another spear in the heart. The location is very remote and there were no eateries nearby and Mall Road was 5-6 kms away, so in dinner there was no buffet even though they claimed that hotel was full, we ordered the food at 10 pm and it came at 11:30 pm, till then we were dying of hunger, and the food that came was literally in consumable, only the dal tadka was good, the paneer butter masala and egg curry was of no taste at all. And the kheer was just like that boiled milk and put boiled rice in it which were just resting at the bottom. The next day food we ordered was munchurian with noodles, the munchurian was completely under cooked and not even bonded together, the noodles was very salty and again unconsumable. Altogether it was the nightmare which kept on going for two days. The room is good if it comes at 800 rupees. And obviously if you can deal with unhygienic atmosphere with worst food. Other than that, just avoid it. All the reviews are just paid or are done by themselves. Don’t go there just by looking at reviews like we did, even though some of the reviews were warning us but we thought that not everyone can be satisfied. Let’s check ourselves how it is. Please don’t make this mistake. We were stuck there only because it was peak days and no other option was there.
