Hotel Peepal Tree

Stayed here for a night. HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE. They charge like a 5 star and provide services like low grade hotel. Hotel staff were very rude and unprofessional. Bedsheet was stained and washroom mirrors were see through. We saw cockroaches in the room! Unbelievable! Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had the worst experience staying at the hotel, stayed in the family room. Everything was pathetic and to list a few: The bed-sheet was so dirty and soiled, blanket was torned off. Their washroom’s mirrored wall was transparent and anyone can see both ways clearly. No hangers in bathroom or anywhere in the room, when asked they said they have no plans to have them either. Bed was not set properly and very bad quality that you cannot stay/sleep stabled. Unprofessional and egoistic staff and was not acceptable to any complaint instead blaming the customer for anything happening. Prices they charge is for a 4 star hotel but services were equivalent to a low grade hotel. Last but not least, pathetic experience one could have during the stay in Rishikesh.

Rooms are good but I felt the prices are on the higher side the reason may be the on season and location. Adjacent to the highway in the city centre, all the main attractions are quite nearby. The cafe on the ground floor serves delicious desserts. The pizzas are also good. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant does not have many options. Our dinner experience was bad, they didn't listen to our requirements properly or it was not conveyed properly to the kitchen staff. One kitchen staff specifically was very rude who argued just to stand correct.

Nice location and on the highway. Walking distance from Laxman Jhula. Rooms are clean with all required amenities. View from balcony is good. Food is excellent and staffs were ready to help out of their way. Property Manager was very helpful.

I spent 1 night at Peepl Tree hotel. The room was clean and cozy. There is good WiFi , the food at the restaurant is also great. The staff was nice. The view was amazing. There is a cafe on the ground floor where you can drink coffee.

Amazing find, budget friendly and sanitised room. Very humble staff and quick room service. Definitely recommended for people with family or solo traveler. Very safe for girls. Good view of the mountain from their roof top restaurant where you can finish office work for people working from home, they have good network connectivity. We even extended our stay at the hotel.

Stayed here for a night. HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Hotel is very small on a busy road. Big hygiene issue. We saw cockroaches in the room! They take the whole room charge upfront and upon expressing our desire to move out because of hygiene issue, we were told that one day charge will anyway be applied to us. They charged 7k for a night which is like a 4 star charge. Unbelievable! Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

They charge prices equivalent to 4 star and above but their standard is similar to that of 1 star hotel or even bad. It was so dirty, cobwebs everywhere, dust on fans (as if no dusting was done for months), torn linen/pillow covers (pics attached) We were 3 families, so we had booked 3 rooms, while checking in we enquired whether all 3 rooms (of category booked online) were on same floor or not, to this the manager rudely replied that to accommodate on same floor they on their own had to change the category (needless to say lowered) of the rooms. When we expressed our displeasure on this, his reply was "this is what we have, either take it or leave it (which would have meant no refund)". When we went into the rooms, we were shocked to see the condition of rooms, dirty and dust everywhere. On showing them, at first they reacted as if it was so trivial thing and then cleaned which took almost 30-40 mins. Linens were worn out, torn pillow covers and to top it all house keeping guys were ill mannered. Breakfast was horrible and arranged in very shabby hall in terrace. Please avoid this hotel. We were there in Oct. 2021. Please note that this review was posted in 2022 but since I have added pics on 07-01-23, it's showing as later post.
