Hotel Royal Respite

The WORST hotel we've ever stayed in. The place was filthy!!! We had period blood stains on the bedding cover, dirty pillow cases where we had to sleep on top of our cardigans instead. Cockroaches coming out of the drain. The toilet smelled bad, the smell coming out of the sink was vile so we had to brush our teeth with bottled water just to be safe. Blood stains on the wall, black mould all over the walls and it smells of mould when you come in. Holes from cigarette butts all over the bedding. And they lied about there being a rooftop cafe which is the reason why we booked the hotel in the first place. Don't come here, waste of money and nerves.

The Hotel is well-located making it convenient for tourists. The check-in process was smooth, and staff was friendly too. The Room was quite spacious and comfortable and the food was delicious with a good variety. Overall, the service was good and the stay was worth it.

BED BUGS!!! I booked for 3 nights using the Booking.com app. Had a horrible time as I was itching all over at night. On the third night, I saw the bed bugs. After I left, I decided to put a review on the app. Turns out they canceled my booking on the app, it says I never showed up. So I can't review on the app. This means they knew the room has bed bugs. Also they are misusing the app, taking the price+app fee from me, but not giving anything to Booking.com Terrible way to do business. Also, the hostel I stayed before and the one I am staying in after leaving... both are ok. No bed bugs.

It seems nice and good ambient in pics but when I have e visited there,I came to a loss that nothing was as such .room having bad odour and the bed sheets were dirty and the pillows are just for the sake of name...very bad behaviour of the staff .arrogant theydont know how to deal with guests. My worst experience ever this time. Very bad .not deserve a single star even .

Had a really bad experience, room was not at all clean, neither blankets were fresh not washroom was clean. Not at all good facility and also the smell was bad.

Worst Hotel Ever!! Do NOT stay here! I booked through Booking.com and paid in advance, so they gave me an unbelievably dirty, filthy room! Mold was growing everywhere, and the smell was absolutely unbearable! They ruined our Karva Chauth trip with this disgusting place! Check out the photos—I’m extremely dissatisfied! The 5-star reviews are FAKE! Beware—spend an extra 200-500 rupees or even stay on the street, but DO NOT stay at this hotel!
