Regenta Inn On The Ganges Rishikesh

My husband and I had a comfortable stay in this hotel. Service was very good. Staff would reach without delay and they were very polite. Preparation in the dinning hall were very good, tasty and they have lots of variety in the menu to choose from. Durga, the receptionist is extra polite and caring. Took great care of us being senior citizens. The only problem is the approach to the hotel, which is very bad. Very uneven, difficult to walk to the main road.

Rooms are good and clean. And with good interior. They have central heater for hot water all the time. Bathrooms are clean and tidy! Food they serve you is very tasty… Kitchen seems hygienic and they serve you well… Staff is helpful in providing info. It is a bit hard to reach the place as it is placed in a narrow road plus there are small boards to guide. Overall you can book the rooms for comfortable stay.

Stay was very comfortable. Room was nice and spacious. Food is also very tasty and worth the cost. Staff is very polite. The girl on the reception Miss Durga made us feel at home by looking into all the details during our stay as we are super senior citizens. The only problem is the location. The way to the hotel is very bad.

My complaint would be No 24×7 hot water The shower area workings In the name of heater i was given hot blower. No oil heater or heating from a/c. Mind that hotel is down a hole and four wheeler needs to be careful and enough power in their engine. Hotels continue to provide that stupid thin white blanket that is used also in summers. It is not warm No cleaning of rooms . Had to call ESPECIALLY to clean the room. Even then the boys were clueless what to do.

Me and my family stayed there for one night while going on our road trip. We booked 2 rooms for 2 families. Once we entered the room it smelled of cigarettes.. we complained so they sprayed some room freshener then to my surprise the bathroom door lock was fully broken..once again I called their staff they came and gave a surprised look as if they didn't knew about it ( that means they didn't cleaned the room before we arrived). They asked us to shift to another room... And after having dinner in the room my kid was going to sleep and found a tobacco box under the pillow... Once again I called the housekeeping guys and they had no answer to my questions so I asked them to clean the whole bed with a fresh bedsheet and covers. That took them half an hour and after such a long drive we all were tired and couldn't even rest properly as all these dramas were going on past midnight. The 2 stars I am giving is only because the food they served in dinner was good. I will not recommend this to anyone.

The road to this property is not good and it’s not like a 4-star property. It’s a 3 star property. The staff is helpful and resolved our issues. But I did not like the rooms and cleanliness was missing. If you book a room then do check which floor the room is at. If the room is on the floor where swimming pool is there then it’s the least maintained room.

We had a 2 day stay in the suite category, trust me it's worth spending every Penny , start counting from the reception, or spa or room space , the service , specially food - amazing service from the kitchen . You guys nailed our stay ❣️❣️🍁🍁 Keep it up, must visit the property.

The stay was very nice and peaceful. The staff made it comfortable for us too. Breakfast and dinner were served on time and was really nice.
