Absolutely horrible experience. The staffs were absolutely unwelcoming. Owners were arrogant uptown kids who had no idea of the service industry. Let's not even talk about the lack of amenities and services. Everything had to be ordered 4-5 times for them to deliver it. The taps were static and after multiple complaints nothing was done about it. I went there with my family to spend some quality and celebrate a special occasion everything was ruined.

Worst experience ever ….. this review is directly for the owner ! Please change your staff . They dont even know how to talk to customers … they are too aggresive toward customers without any reason and manager is too rude toward us …have first time referred to my frnd and your staff ruined it all …. Didnt liked it at all .. sorry but worst experience ever.

Rooms were good but no toiletries or towels were provided. Neither water bottles.

Let’s start with the fact im an African American - why is this important? Because I was told specifically that was their biggest concern in regards of who leaves a review “white people it’s whatever , Indians are still going to come , but because it’s rare they get African Americans your review could shut this place down “ So here is my honest review : if you come Rishīkesh seeking peace avoid this environment at all cost . This place is supposed to be alcohol and smoke free . These people treat “the misfit cafe”(restaurant on the first for more like a club ) like their living room and they are alcoholics ! Weed I don’t consider a drug but it’s clear these people are on a lot of substances. I came here the day before prior to checking in Ashkay from the cafe assured me it would be cleaned and that quiet hours were after 10. The room they checked us into was so dirty !! I mean stuff on the wall , the curtains, the toilet was filthy we asked someone to come and clean twice he goes in the bathroom closes the door absolutely no difference except now it stinks . We decided to purchase ALL the cleaning supplies including the only mop in the building and do it ourselves. We also bought pillows and sheets theirs were dirty and stained severely . The pillows were moldy . If I’m honest this building has a lot of potential and as of the first it’s under new management/ which brings be to my next complaint. The new “owner” tried to enter my room twice without knocking once it was a 9pm at night. Does this sound like a hotel owner ?? My husband and I were supposed to stay a little over a month . I’m here for yoga training so this environment was very harmful If you’re not a reader here on the pros and cons . Pros : - Pundir in the kitchen (very nice man ) I never ate there because of the lack of cleanliness but very nice guy - View from the property - Beds are softer compared to many in the area - Has hot water Cons : - dirty af - Loud af sometimes till 3am - Stank af - Bathroom smells at random times and I mean of pure sewage that will wake you from your sleep (they tried to fix this with water ) - Nobody cleaned until new management took over - Broken glass everywhere for days MY HUSBAND swept it up - The management are liars and addicts - Because they’re addicts there is often conflict hence the window being broken - People jumping onto my private balcony to access other parts of the building - Constant cigarette smoke - Extremely lazy staff - The yoga wasn’t in use I think a lot of the workers sleep there it was so gross - Partial frequent power outages - Not accessible at all and they leave hazards on the stairs -didn’t get a mirror until two weeks in This building could be amazing but if the new owner is actually the owner ( many people claimed they were the owner when it was time to address an issue ) Super con ! We left early because it was unbearable and after the man tried to walk in another time him and my husband got into an altercation which left us not feeling safe in this environment. These people tried to keep our money and it took 2 days and a lot of aggression to get a partial refund. This is the yoga capital of the world and honestly I’m uncertain why . If you’re American specifically have grace towards the cultural norms , language barriers, you’re a visitor ultimately. But I’m certain you didn’t travel all this way to be amongst filth , substance abuse, pollution pollution, noise pollution, smoggg while trying to be zen ! DONT STAY HERE! Also they locked the nice man from the kitchen in the cafe supposedly because he got too drunk and yelled at him like he was not even a person . If that’s how they treat their own imagine how they will treat you . I also have screenshots of the convos with management in case anyone wants to call me dishonest. Rishikesh in itself is a challenge and ultimately not a vibe for peace . I will never return to this area . After seeing over 15 properties staying In 3 no matter the budget this place is just not it .

The location was awesome and really pleasant to stay. The rooms were clean and hygienic, also the staff and service der makes the place even better. All of the people in the hotel are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. This was one of the nicest places we stayed in.

The food preparation and the food items stole the show. The taste was much more better than my expectations. The staff was courteous enough, and they let us order food even though It was mentioned that outside food wasn't allowed. The rooms and the other Amenities was a 4/5. Overall a good experience.

We booked hotel by OYO app but hotel staff wanted to us to pay offline and asked for an extra money but we refused to pay extra than they threatened me to cancel the booking and misbehaved. Even rooms are not cleaned geyser are not installed in the washroom.Disgusiting experience & staff.

If you're looking for some peace, a close proximity to the waterfall, great food, and amazing people with some really good vibes, this is the place. The hosts are very helpful, and went above and beyond to meet my every need. Thank you so much for all the help!! Definitely recommend coming here.
