OYO Gujral Hotel Near St. Thomas's Church

It is the worst hotel, I have ever stayed in. The bathroom doesn't have any window to pass the air, it's to smelly, even the smell comes to room. I recommend each one who is reading this comment, not to book room here, it going to be worse. Even when we asked from them is it an OYO, the receptionist said no it's not an OYO. But in actual it is.

The overall experience was so so. I bargained there. But pre booking was available..The manager Partha Upaddhay is a great guy..I guess the hotel should increase some of the facilities compared to the service that it is providing..One more thing is that you cannot see the Gujral Hotel signboard while going to the New Market area you have to go a little inside.. It is in the madge lane.

Worst hotel. Denied to give rooms and you are not gonna find it because it is inside a building without board outside and no one outside hotel will tell you that there is hotel. Lift not working. After 3 floor you will find hotel and then hotel manager denied to give rooms to couple wow. I would have liked to give negative review. Oyo has the worst service possible. Gujaral hotel has no connection with OYO. We had to wait for 3 hours and book a room separately at the hotel. Don’t be fooled after booking at Oyo because mostly the reservation will not be respected and there will be no room available. This violates the basic principle of hospitality. Oyo should be banned by govt. for cheating customers. It is way better to book directly at the hotel than through Oyo.

Worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. They charge too much and their services are not so good at that price Like they charge 1500 for non ac rooms. As other hotel will give you ac rooms in that range They don't give you any breakfast service or any other kind of service in that range. Their charges are very high and they don't have enough facilities. Their lift conditions are soo bad that it feels unsafe when you are in their lift That hotel needs to be worked on their maintenance and their cleanliness. No WiFi facilities are there And no balcony is there in any of their room. It feels suffocated living inside that room.

They don't have contract with OYO (13-Sep-19). Denied our stay. Don't book it through OYO and paid a week before we started. We reached to the hotel, waited for 2 hours! Called to OYO helpline, they insist us to refund or to reallocate in such a hotel which is far away. Well, we did book this hotel as we wanted to book in that place!We asked OYO to re- book in the same place, but they offered another hotel with 2times higher rate!! When we denied to pay higher price as it's their fault to keep out contract hotels in their list, they forward the call to someone who never received the call for 30 mins. So, in short 1. OYO shows out contract hotels in their list 2. You can make payment 3. You will find it only when you arrive in the hotel 4. Their customer service is the worst. If they transfer the call, get ready to wait for 15 mins, at our case, no one received it! Remember, invade you are in an international tour, you need to fund enough in your mobile for calling OYO Yes, they might provide the refund at the quickest possible time but now you are at your own to find a hotel in the spots! 5. The hassle you might face is a experience of lifetime! For us, we reached at hotel around 08.00pm and heard the news! We had very little time to get another hotel

1) Location is very bad....deep inside a narrow lane.....at the 2nd floor of an old and congested building....if you have luggage it's very difficult to reach. 2) Very bad behaviour of staff..... 3) They refused MakeMyTrip booking even after confirmed booking......told all lie. 4) There are many good hotels adjacent to this location with better facilities and cheaper tariff.

Booked through Oyo. .At first booked a hotel,after reaching the site,they informed me that the hotel is still under construction so you have to cancel your booking.(Oyo Township 084 Golden park Kolkata-BOOKING ID : UTFR2914). Then I booked another hotel and after reaching there they say that we don't accept bookings from Oyo.(OYO 24555- GUJRAL HOTEL KOLKATA Booking id : DEVQ0143) Had to change twice
