Astoria Hotel - Kolkata

This is the worst hotel I have ever visited. Staff is very unprofessional. Food they serve are neither healthy nor tasty. You can get a taste of uncooked masalas. The AC remote is not working. TV is not functional. The fridge provide is not working. If you want tea then you have to make it yourself. You can also not complain about anything because your complaints won't get addressed. This hotel is a big NO from my side.

Very decent hotel compared to the surrounding area. Being a solo traveller in a new city, it is important to feel safe and comfortable. The staff here are well trained and very professional. They are always ready to help! Location is very important in a big city like Kolkata. I was lucky to stay here, Metro station is walking distance!! I am surprised to read some of the harsh reviews written for them!! Best wishes to all staff!! I will come again!!

Astoria Hotel Kolkata exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were extremely nice and went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The hotel's location is ideal for sightseeing, with many attractions within easy reach. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenience.

I recently stayed at in this on hotel and was highly disappointing . The receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Their lack of manners and professionalism made me feel unwelcome from the moment I arrived and before i check out it make matters worse, the manager displayed the same disrespectful attitude, showing a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and welcoming The high prices did not align with the quality of the amenities provided. Additionally, the overall value for money was severely lacking. I would caution others against staying at this hotel due to the unjustified high costs and lackluster offerings

I first got a room with terrible smell of old tobacco and a lot of mold, couldn’t even breath. The woman in the reception didn’t want to help me at first, told me there was not any other rooms. Finally, she fixed it The night receptionist was super nice and helpful, it’s he who earns the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
