OYO 62701 Bijoy Beach Resort

It was a very good experience here..The manager and all the staff are very cooperative.Decent behaviour.Location is nice...sea beach ⛱️ is on the lap..and places of hang out are on the sea beach.. I am personally recommending this resort.But one point I have to say is that wifi service is very bad.

Initial we planned for 1night stay and later extended for another night. It's excellent for families with kids. Foods , staff behavior - thumbs up. Easy access to beach ⛱️ . Try to grab room no 1 or 2 even if they ask high price. Those two rooms are jacks.

Bijoy beach resort isn't a hyped or famous one in mandarmani. I went there through a friend's reference and I was glad I chose this place. We stayed for 2 nights in Room no. 1 ( the room with the best view) and the sea shore was just beside the bed head. Very nicely done rooms with beautiful balcony with the sea view and clean bathroom made our stay beautiful. ||I was worried about the service as the previous reviews were not so good. But I must say they have a wonderful service. I did not have to ask for a thing twice. ||Food is ok. The chicken tikka kebab which I ordered was really bad. I guess I sudnt have ordered it in a place where the cooks are used to cook the normal daily food. Aloo paratha was good though. ||Bijoy beach resort though unheard in mandarmani is highly recommendable and I will visit here again for sure.

Been there twice now. Nice beach side resort at Mandermani...location is good. They have rooms on both sides of the road but the rooms on the Sea side are more spacious and quite well appointed for the budget. Service is neat, timely and prompt. I went with a 2 month old child...they took great care of our small requests. Only thing they need to improve is the taste of the food. Rest all good.

We wanted to stay in the rooms which are in front of the beach but unfortunately they were full and we were given rooms in the backside , nevertheless the rooms were good , worth the money . Clean bathroom , good staff and the best part was the food . I had the best chicken tandoori here which I will remember throughout my life ..the cook is just too good. Keep up the good work team. Will come back soon.||The sea facing rooms are half glass made and are for 2500. The back side was 2000, each room hs one shower outside the rooms with sitting arrangement.

It's a pathetic hotel experience. please read on and then take your decision to book this hotel or not.||We went with family and took 4 rooms for two days.||Cons:||1.hide information: While booking they said it's a property by the sea side. On arrival, we got rooms which are far away from the sea. there is a public road intersecting the hotel premise. we have to cross the public road to access the coast or even the hotel dinning place!||||2. Rude behavior of hotel staffs- Staffs are not ready listen to your problem/concerns. They don't even look at you to have a conversation. Especially, the manager- "RAVI SANKAR" do not address any concerns and says- "Call in Kolkata office where you had booked, I'm busy". ||3. Room condition: Rooms were clean but services were pathetic.||No water in the bathroom. After I followed up for 1/2 an hour, one person came to fix it but failed. 2nd person came and he was doing the plumbing work opening the tap and shower. it took almost 1 hour and then the water flow was too low. They bluntly said, because of too much iron this is what yo can get! I found better water flow in other room.||||They just do one round of swiping after you request per day. no bathroom cleaning or mopping or changing the bed sheet!!!||||4. This is hilarious: They don't give the AC remote to the guest. Hotel staff will switch it on from outside the door and then you can not control the temperature or even switch on/off the AC on your own wish. ||I had an argument over this, and they said-"you may not know how to operate and may break the remote. Hence we won't give!!!"||After a lot of discussion, I called the kolkata office and said i'll pay the non-AC room tariff. then only I got the remote on 2nd day.||same goes for TV. Didn't get the remote first. they just forgot every time i reminded.||Everywhere they have written the fine for loosing the room key. Guess what!||It's Rs.3500 if you loose the room key.||If you break a chair- pay Rs. 800||likewise all information are furnished so well that it might remind you of school days!||||Pros: They didn't charge for extra person (3 people in 2 bed room).||Food is costly but ok. Enough parking space.

Perfect location, neither too crowded nor too secluded. They provide basic amenities with a lot of care. The staff are excellent and well behaved. Right on the beach with an excellent view of the sea. Food is good, but don't order offbeat dishes. There are swings and see saws for the kids. I would surely come back here.
