Dhanam Lodge

The location is great, right in the heart of the city but the rooms are pathetic. The bedsheets were pathetic. Toilet was not washed, sink dirty, the toothbrush holder was dirty. No dustbin in the room. No water to drink. No towels or soap are provided.

Room was spacious. We booked a double bed room for rs.1800. Restroom was neat. Good hot water facility. But there was more mosquito in room. Also curtains , cot and window was not cleaned properly fully dust.

It's a moderate lodge. But for urgent visitors,who have no option may be suitable. For temple worship devotees it will be ok. For long stay, it is not a suitable one.

Rooms are okay. The family suite room had two double cots. AC's rooms are 7-10 years old. AC is side split type AC and therefore the entire room will not get chilled. Bathrooms are not that clean, they were just okay. 5-7 cars can be parked easily. Cheaper price given the prime location near railway station.

Rooms are not clean. Bathrooms are totally unhygienic. Western toilet commodes and spray pipes totally unclean. No water in washbasin. Enquired with the room boy, he himself helpless. It's not a budget lodge also. No toiletries soaps are available. If anyone wants to stay, it's his own Choice. Happy staying.

Decent lodge. Relatively closer to railway station and bus stand (by car or auto, since you will have some luggage) Parking and hot water available. Lot of mosquitoes, so carry repellent or something else to wade em off. I felt the tariff was lil high compared to the features and state of the rooms. Overall, it's okay if you are looking for just stay over for the night and visit temples around during day...

To begin with, I would say the person in the front desk is not very friendly. They just do not want to hear you out. We stayed there for just 4 hrs and had booked a 4 bed A/C room. The quality of the room was not great, it was tidy though. For a 1.5K room, he took a 3K advance. While checking out, he just mentioned the final amount and returned the balance. He did not want to give us a receipt. After continuously asking he provided a receipt. Did not like their overall attitude. This place is located very close to the railway station as well(say about 200 mtrs or so).

Average lodge with cheap accommodation. The non Ac double bed rooms are 450 rs. But it's not even worth that considering there is no proper ventilation and the bathrooms are unclean. However those who can manage, has Ac rooms, which are over priced and hardly maintained. The Ac vent is a breeding ground of mosquitoes, which might make you think you are better off sleeping in a non Ac room.
