Very nice as per the location. There is a very good lunch homes or restaurant at walking distance. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for.

Overall it's a decent if expensive lodge. Negatives: The largest rooms are quite expensive (3.5k). The extra bed still has a plastic wrapper on the inside, not a good idea at all. Not many options on good coffee/ tea unless you go to the nearby mani restaurant. Calling the reception with bad cell coverage is a pain currently. On the positive side, the room was very big, ac worked well, good parking space (though they seem to be expanding on number of rooms now) and great location of the hotel.

Umari thangam is best place to stay in Thiruchendur, room is neat & clean, place is so peaceful, distance from temple but own vehicle users is best place...

Definitely a suggested hotel to stay, the room is veryclean and neat , fitted with tiles it was pleasant room, staff were good, hot water working fine , tv good there's no wifi , parking is plenty enough, bed is cleaned and good , water and glass provided also good night liquid, kids okay area also available, could have added more mats around the area, also one sink out of the restroom could be added for tooth brushing . Otherwise it's a really good hotel to stay

My stay at Umarithangam Lodge, located near Author Mani Hotel in Mukkani, was a pleasant surprise. The lodge is very well-maintained, and the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful throughout our stay. It offered great value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. A truly unexpected gem!
