Excellent place for a quiet holiday. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town, is this beautiful property. Extremely friendly staff and excellent service! A special mention about the GM Mr. Varun, who went out of his way to make sure that we had a wonderful vacation! Mr. Amit was there throughout to see that everything went seamlessly at the banquets and dining areas. Regina made our check- in and check-out effortless. And Anand who coordinated everything before we landed there and made our holiday very comfortable. Thanks to Team Tapovan for making our stay a truly memorable one!!

Tapovan is situated in lush green coffee plantation and gives feeling of as if time has stopped. No pollution clear sky and everywhere green. Moment you enter the resort all the staff starting from security to GM welcoming guests with smile and makes sure stay comfortable. Front office was very efficient makes check in check out smooth. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Sourabh helped us wherever possible. Restaurant ambiance is vibrant and staff is very prompt and take care of all your needs. Jayanti was taking care of our orders with smile. Live singing by local artist was superb enjoyed it a lot. Swimming pool is clean and has a small temperature control pool where one can relax in nature. Overall family and friends enjoyed the stay to full. ||Only feedback for management to have ramp for approaching rooms which can be accessed only with steps which makes incovinient and hard for ppl with joint issues specially to elderly ppl. Same for restaurant.

Had a wonderful stay at Tapovana – The Fern. The resort is beautifully set in the lap of nature with stunning views all around. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer great scenic views. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and I’d love to see some authentic Malnad dishes added to the menu. The staff were extremely friendly and took great care of us — their hospitality was truly exceptional. A perfect place for a peaceful and refreshing break. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

We met up for a school reunion (nearly 30 pax) and it was simply splendid. The location viewpoints, rooms, food, service was above par. Affordable prices. The whole gang thoroughly enjoyed with zero issues. Staff were extremely courteous and went over and above to not just be comfortable but enjoy ourselves ♥️👌🏽 The ambience, food n friends … truly a blessing🙏🏼

Tucked away amidst the lush greenery of Sakleshpur, Tapovan The Fern Resort turned out to be one of those rare finds that beautifully balances nature, comfort, and hospitality. From the moment I entered the property, the calmness of the surroundings and the cleanliness of the resort stood out. Every corner looked thoughtfully maintained — it felt like stepping into a quiet, green sanctuary. The staff were incredibly supportive and polite, always ready with a smile. A heartfelt shoutout to Manash, Sushanto, and Amit from the restaurant team — their warmth and attentive service made the dining experience even more delightful. The food was excellent, fresh, and well-prepared, with a good variety to choose from. One of the highlights for me was the infinity pool, perfectly placed to capture the misty hills and the endless green expanse — a picture-perfect spot for both relaxation and reflection. There’s also a beautiful viewpoint within the resort premises where you can just sit, breathe, and take in the valley view. For a touch of fun, the buggy rides around the property add a nice experience, especially if you’re traveling with family. The only small thing to note is the last 800 meters of approach road, which is a mud path — so it’s best to drive slowly and carefully, especially during or after rains. Overall, Tapovan The Fern Resort offers a beautiful blend of nature, hospitality, and comfort — a perfect weekend retreat for anyone looking to unwind in Sakleshpur.

We had a wonderful experience at Tapovana Resort Sakleshpura during our Ruby Reunion. The ambience is calm and refreshing, the cottages are clean and spacious, and the greenery around the property creates the perfect escape from city life. The hospitality deserves special mention—every request was handled promptly and with a smile. The food was excellent, the bonfire arrangements were well done, and the overall atmosphere made our event truly memorable. A fantastic resort for groups, families, and anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

Tapovana Resort major good thing is location and staff. Location is premium with amazing views and staff are very helpful and good. However comes with a lot of drawbacks. Room is very small for the price, you can’t just walk inside room with luggage kept inside. Lack basic facilities like hot water, clean glass for water. At a place like sakleshpura people would love to get some hot water for bathing but the water is just warm even after requesting. Food was average with taste and variety and very expensive if ordered a la carte. We had all 3 meals included. Mr. Amit f&b manager was very helpful, as we travelled with baby he arranged dinner at room for us as we were not able to go to restaurant for buffet. Overall we can still get much better options for this price with good rooms and much better food options like Ayatana or Rosetta Not worth for the money paid and Can pay a little more and get premium services with better luxury resorts. Not recommended for travellers with infants but okay for travellers with toddlers Could have been better

Every member of the team showed such patience and compassion — from offering a helping hand while climbing stairs to ensuring they were served and settled comfortably. Their attentiveness made our parents feel cherished and at ease, and they truly enjoyed every moment of their stay.||A heartfelt mention must go to Ragina, whose cheerful spirit and ever-smiling presence lit up every moment of our stay. She was effortlessly helpful, bubbly, and full of warmth — the kind of person who makes hospitality feel like an art. Jayanti, too, deserves appreciation for her graciousness in the kitchen and for ensuring every meal was served with heart.||From the management to every member of the team, their courtesy and professionalism were impeccable — a reflection of true hospitality.||Everything — the rooms, the ambience, the service — was simply delightful.|If there’s one tiny note, it would be that the food quality could be improved to match the otherwise stellar experience.||A beautiful property made unforgettable by the people who run it. 🌺
