Planet Green Plantation Resort

My stay at PGPR was so nice i cant even tell you. The staffs were really humble and active all the time. They even guide you to nearby places to visit. Well mannered gentlemen. From check in to check out everything was very smooth. The rooms were clean. Balcony was the main attraction. All you can see is greenery surroundings. The chirping of birds, the smell of soil as it was raining made our trip more natural. You don’t even need to go out searching for good restaurants as they provide amazing and variety of food.(both veg and non veg). So here’s my mathematical review: Room: 5/5⭐️ Staffs: 10/5 ⭐️ Food:5/5⭐️ View:5/5⭐️ Weather:5/5⭐️ Overall experience:100/100 ✅ Worth a recommendation.

Didn't like the place. We checked in and within 30 min, checked out due to poor ambience. Though views from the hotel were good but the place was poorly maintained. Rooms were smelling and entire place was dirty. Room balcony was just above the shed of another room which was stinking. There is no proper parking for the hotel. Rooms Photos available on tripadvisor and google are nowhere matching with actual condition of the property. I would suggest to avoid this property.

(As of 2nd week of July 2024) |No designated area for vehicle parking.|Property was not maintained and it was all dirty. Rooms were smelling badly. We have checked in but not able to manage stay there for 30 minutes and checkout out. Photos available on Tripadvisor are misleading. |It was a waste of time and money for us as we did not get any refund as well. Please avoid this property.

The price is not justified. There's humidity and smell in the rooms and cleanliness is ignored. It was hard to trust their towels too. The view is nothing unique, you can get it anywhere else too.

Not worth the price. Breakfast wasn’t there both days of our stay. The only selling point of the resort is the view, which you can also get from anywhere else. Staff was doing their best but the resort was nowhere near the price you pay for it. There was no open space or a place to relax in the resort other than your balcony. The water stream is very far away. Spotted a few animals in the trees so that was a plus. I think the hotel deserves half of what we paid for it. Rooms had spiders and some bulbs were not functioning. Water pressure was very low in the taps and the service was very slow. We waited for breakfast till 10 after telling them that we need it at 8. Even after all the wait, they only served appam and a curry which you can easily get for like 50 rupees at a roadside stall. The breakfast eggs were chargeable even after having such a pathetic breakfast.

One of the best views of Chembra hills from any hotel in Wayanad....... Tucked away from the regular traffic, this quiet place is nature friendly and nestled in the midst of a Coffee plantation. It has regular rooms, wooden cabins and even a tree house. No swimming pool, but has a BBQ/ campfire and its private river bank by a beautiful perennial stream. It also has a grove of a very rare variety of Elephant Bamboo. Neat rooms woth a friendly staff.

Before you read this I must say you won’t find any negative point as we didn’t find any. Firstly, we were a group of 4 members ( my parents both 60+ and me and my wife) wanted to travel Wayanad and wanted to stay in the midst of nature. This was our first trip to Wayanad so we were little unsure what to expect once we reach there. After lot of research in various travel blog, app reviews and comments I decided to book two Premium rooms in Planet Green Plantation Resort. A day before our journey from Bangalore to Wayanad I gave a call to the resort. A lady named Aparna Anand received my call, I just wanted to know about the place, weather, local transportation etc. to my surprise she assisted me in everything, cleared all my doubts, she was so well mannered, calm, composed and caring. When she heard about my parents travelling with us she became extra caring. Later I came to know she is MD of the resort. Next day during our journey she didn’t hesitate to write me if we needed any assistance on our way to wayanad and she had informed the manager to take care us well also my parents. After we reached wayanad and Planet Green I got what I wanted, we were in the midst of dense forest surrounded by coffee and tea plantation. The view from our balcony is western ghats highest mountain peak Chembra. Between us and Chembra mountain there was not a single structure, roads or any other obstacle. It was only nature. We used to wake up seeing Chembra mountain from our bed. We stayed 3 nights 4 days although I wish I could stay few more days there. If I don’t mention Dalvin then it will be very unfair. Whoever will read this review you will thank me if you ever visit Planet resort and meet Dalvin. Me and my family will remember him forever. He is a person who’s you can call and bother thousand times but in the end you will always hear from him Please let me know Sir if you need any other assistance :) he is a man of ethics, polite, a man with 24*7 smile on face, positive. On our first day he took us to the downstream of the resort showed us the property, took all possible photos so that we get the best images, explained every single things in details, also managed vehicle for us, get us the best priced car, driver as we wanted, places to visit as we wanted. He even managed a map for us and all this with a positive smile :) I can say so many incident with him which gave us a positive impression about him. Coming down to food, Dalvin and the resort stuff cooked food as we wanted. They have their own menu which is very moderate price. And don’t hesitate to place food of your choice beyond that menu, they will make it ready for you. I have travelled in many states in India and many countries but this experience was a unique one. Wayanad is beautiful but the place we stayed was even better. Lastly, the rooms are very clean, very well maintained, sanitized, well furnished and cozy. 24*7 hot water in washroom. This place is must if you are a couple because you will get the privacy and all the comforts. Also a perfect place if you are travelling with family members be with kids or older parents because it’s safe place also easily accessible and stuff are always there for you. I could write many more but that way you will miss all the good surprises like candle night dinner which Dalvin and his stuff prepared for us :) If ever you are planning a trip to Wayanad then must visit Planet Green because all important tourist spots are nearby its location. Kalpetta (the main town of wayanad district is just three kms from the resort). I’m sorry I couldn’t write any cons because me and my family had found nothing bad about our stay. We were happy, satisfied and overwhelmed. A big kudos to Dalvin, Aparna Anand and her stuff members. Keep doing great work. Your hospitality is beyond any ratings :)

This is One of the most beautiful place in Wayanad with regards to the view. We had lot of plans for sightseeing but ended up staying in the resort through out the day as the mountain mood changes every hour. will definitely be coming back here more often. Just fell in love with this place. We also stayed in the Treehouse for one day the view from the treehouse is different from than that of the premium suite room we liked the privacy in the treeshouse and the view from the premium room. Food is ok but not great .The resort is very clean and staffs were very friendly.
