The team of Spice Heritage is understanding and accommodating. We had a lovely and memorable stay. If you are looking for an unusual experience away from the regular hotels, this is the place you should go. Location is a great advantage. Most tourist attractions are nearby. Utility shops, restaurants and fruit shops are all close to the property. Mr. Azif, the manager is a lovable person, soft spoken, we were lost at 1.00 am on the day of arrival, he promptly came to the spot and accompanied us. Hoping to stay with you again soon. I recently stayed at Spice Heritage, and while there were a few positives, there were also several drawbacks that left me disappointed. Pros: The ambience and vintage theme of the hotel are very appealing. The decor gives the place a unique, old-world charm that is hard to find elsewhere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made a positive impression. The swimming pool was a highlight. It’s well-maintained and a great spot to relax. Cons: A big issue was the lack of phones in the rooms. Without a phone, it was difficult to communicate with reception or order room service, which was quite inconvenient. No hot water during our stay, which made the experience uncomfortable. The restaurant was closed, which meant we had to find alternatives for meals. Mosquitoes in the room were a constant nuisance, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The washroom was not very clean, with noticeable issues that should have been addressed before guests arrived. Overall, while the hotel has potential with its unique charm and good staff, the lack of basic amenities and cleanliness issues were a major letdown. I hope they address these concerns for future guests.

Very very bad hotel Too bad service Nothing is working in any room No hot water no plug for charging Everything is almost damaged Not clean Manager is too rude and never present in property to listen anything Do not trust on picture i also read all the reviews photos but then realised this was the only mistake I made in my journey This hotel feels like horror movie place you will not get any good vibes If you get this in 500 rs then also not worth it

Positive : Ambience is good. Negatives: This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. I had reported the issue of no hot water to the front office. He said when he would fix it and left. Not to mention if the breakfast was fast, the food was very bad. There were no items.not worth for paid. Front office executive asked the manager to solve the issue, but he did so in a very unprofessional way. Irresponsible management. Don't spoil your valuable time.

Best ever stay you could find in Ernakulam. Very near to Fortkochi and Jew Street. Water metro is also accessible and many bike rental shops near by. This space also have a swimming pool which is well maintained at reasonable rate. Perfect stay to enjoy with your family and friends.

The overall experience was bad.To begin with they don't have hot water facility and their ACs are very old and there's no cooling at all. The bathrooms are smelly and on top of that the overall vibe is creepy. The cupboard in our room was opening on its own every hour which was weird and creepy. Overall horrible experience and absolutely not a 3 star hotel as they claim.

I'm giving this hotel 4 stars because the service was above and beyond! The staff helped us in everything we needed,even when we left at a ridiculous hour of the morning to head to our next destination. They were also extremely helpful in guiding us on entertainment and available activities. The hotel is a classic Kerala style building with beautiful wooden floors railing and almost everything wood, with wooden doors and carvings a few centuries old. There is a wonderful pool and ayurvedic spa right in the hotel. Rooms vary from deluxe to suites, all clean and well maintained. There is a wonderful courtyard and outside our room was a lovely little lounging area great for chatting or relaxing. Located in an ideal spot in mattancherry, with a pharmacy right next door, the money exchange a stone throw away and any other shops such as convenience stores, tailors, fruit shops even a nut store all on the same street. You can walk in and around the area and be steeped in its culture and beauty. Fort Kochi is not too far either so a walk or tuk tuk will get you right in the action. There are plenty of sites to be seen in the area and hours of entertainment around the clock. I would not suggest bringing your kids here, as it does not have a games centre and the entertainment facilities in the area seems lacking for children. Spice heritage brings a tranquility to your day of sightseeing and touring and is ideal for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay and relax but also go out and explore the city around them.
