Rock Springs Country Club

Very disappointed, this was supposed to be a nice water front holiday but turned out to be a nightmare. There is no maintenance of the property, termites everywhere, furnishing tattered and torn, furniture very old and not maintained. Food was pathetic and exorbitantly charged. There was water problem, I spent most of my time calling reception to get water started but very poor response, water supplied was yellow in color, not sure if it was sourced directly from the lake. We also had a tough time reaching the property as it us on vypin island, the staff at reception was not very helpful giving directions. The property is located next to lake but very bad experience. Please avoid.

I have visited this place first time in Trivandrum. Staffs are very nice and they explained clearly about the plans and details about their products. Also they are providing the ownership plan as an offer. If you are willing to select membership then they will offer an pleasant journey for your vacations. Awesome experience. Thanks a lot for the manager and the staff who explained the things crystal clear.

Dear country club members, Please avoid coming to this resort. It may have been a nice place few years back and could be a good place, if proper maintenance and up keeping is done. ||We drove all the way from Bangalore to spend some good times and relax. The place is infested with mosquitoes due to stagnant water, which also smells||The food menu card is big but you will get only one item from Non veg and NO FISH.||Food need to be ordered in advance||In breakfast, as well lunch and dinner, if you expect a local flavour, you will be disappointed||The front office and staff can speak very little other than malayalam||There are not much of amenities||Lots of birds around but sad part is you have to sit inside your room and eat your food due to mosquitoes. There is no chairs or table inside the room, though they have beautiful sit outs which cannot be utilized due to mosquitoes and other insects including lizards and spiders on the ceiling above.||It is not at all worth going there. This is my sincere advise

Rooms ain't the best. Booked 2 rooms and one of them had faulty switch board for the TV unit and other had an AC that failed to work. The water was salty. Like, everywhere. Even the water in the pool is salty. Woke up and tried to brush my teeth, I almost puked. The ambience was good. It looks good and everything but look closer and you wouldn't wanna be here.

We were booked at this so called resort from 19-22nd July 2017 by virtue of our membership at Country Club.After finding our way through the narrow road, we were greeted by huge EMU bird who almost attacked us as we got out of the car. ||The so called reception is in shambles and we were allocated Room no.105 & 106. When we went to the room. It was musty and damp, the bedsheets were stained, the bathrooms were stained brown, the bath tub was full of slush. The area surrounding the rooms was full of stagnant water with giant mosquitoes. ||We came and complained to the reception and we were told matter of factly that this is and old property and you cannot expect anything better. I can understand old property but stained bedsheets. We were shown some more rooms which were one worse than the other. ||We did not want to spoil our holiday in this hole so we just left and checked out immediately.||Country Club should be ashamed to call this a property which they offer on time share. ||Please do not by mistake visit this so called resort||Xavier Fernandes||Pune

Negatives:- yellow n salty water from tap..water drips from the tap even when the tap is full open..takes 20-25mins to fill a bucket. no proper cleanliness in bathroom n rooms too..very old furniture,floor n tiles in bathroom..not at all maintained.||there's no double bed in room..instead they have joined two single bed to make it double..which in not at all comfortable. Blankets n bed sheets are are worn off..still they are being used.||it seems overall they are just trying to do keep it good of whatever things(old bedsheets,blankets,old furniture etc etc) they have. even after cleaning its doesn't look clean because of old looks of everything around. ||seriously needs a rennovation!!!!||||our experience with the staff was good...staff is nice..co-operative.service was ok.||||not recommeded for family n couples. but its ok if u are in group or solo..n only come to room to sleep...then its good.||||location is in residential area..no proper road to hotel..it was hard to find for us..no direction guide.

Location - Good on back waters. 15 km to Chellai beach||Back water cruise - not available at all||Reception - Ok||Rooms - Poorly maintained with termite infection||Toilet - Unhygienic||Surroundings - Nice. Can be made better||Swimming pool - No hygiene as no water filtration, also Hygiene depends on how many day time parties the resort conducts||Food - Ok. Limited menu only for all meals. Your choice may not be available. Nearest food joint is approx 3km.||Staff - Friendly.||Infrastructure - Poor. No wi-fi made available due to technical reason (as per the manager).

The resort is very nice and the view is great. They provide you with utmost freedom and it's a good bang for the buck... The place is a bit unkempt. It needs some maintenance here and there. Apart from that, it's a great place to spend a night and have a lot of fun.
