We, a group of seven, booked two cottages here under the agreement of paying ₹2500 per cottage for two people, with an additional charge of ₹800 per person, which includes breakfast and pool access. Based on our experience, this place seems better suited for bachelor staycations rather than family visits. Here are the pros and cons we encountered: **Pros:** 1. The ambiance is decent. 2. The rooms provided were satisfactory. 3. The caretaker is doing his best within his limitations. **Cons:** 1. The access road is poor; it's difficult to navigate if you have a hatchback or sedan. A vehicle with good clearance is recommended, though the property doesn't disclose the road conditions. 2. There are no amenities as promised. They claimed there was a pool, but we didn't find one on the property. When questioned, they changed their story, though we have screenshots of their initial claim. 3. The location is isolated, which might be unsettling if you’re with family. It’s better to visit with a group. 4. Wi-Fi coverage is very limited; it’s provided via a JioFi device with poor connectivity, so plan accordingly. 5. The property is about 2 km into the forest, making frequent trips to the main road challenging. 6. Very limitted parking available, may be for 3 vehicles can park safely 7. If you book directly you are always being charged with a higher rate, so have a validation about the rate before agreeing

Very thrilling and adventurous experience we had. Group and family will be fine to stay. Mile away from main roads. No towers no networks only WiFi. But the service was excellent and friendly. Mr. Pradeep (good person)

We stayed in The Nest for two days. Overall worst experience we ever had. We confirmed the booking on 31 January by paying full amount. On the Check in date we waited for half an hour as they told they didn't receive the confirmation. They already sent us the confirmation message. There was no parking facility for the car. The property is located 2 kms from the main road. The condition of the road was pathetic. I can't say a road - a kind of pathway. They are uploading nice photos and convincing the people. About the room it was not spacious. There was no table , kettle or glass inside the room. There was a staff at the reception. He didn't have any trait of hospitality and was arrogant. The only positive thing about the property is that it was located inside the forest. No restaurant facility was available.Upon our request they will order ang bring food. They order from nearby hotels and take the amount as equal to that of a big budget resorts. Utter waste of money....In the bathroom the drainage was blocked and the toilet flush was not working. The cot in the room was really horrible. If we move also it was making that creaking sound. Not worth for the money. What they have shown in the photographs were just pictures - nothing was there.. Better not to go there.

What i say… The nest resort located inside the forest . The atmosphere is awesome.calm and quiet peaceful.if und looking a peaceful property this is the one. Another disappointing thing is The way to the resort 1 km is very pathetic small off-road. There is no reception and staff . 2 persons is there . There is no hospitality. Food from outside with huge prize. And there is no safety.so don’t go with family and children. It’s only for bachelors. രണ്ട് ദിവസം അടിച്ച് തിമിർത്ത് വരാൻ പറ്റിയ സ്ഥലം.

In the mid of thattekad forest. For those who like waking up to bird sounds. Try to reach before dawn. 1 km of mud road through dense forest to reach, which is a bit scary if you reach at night. No sign board at the mud road entrance, so call them and confirm your route. Food was decent, rooms were clean. Located beside the dam catchment area - has good views. Remains of an old resort nearby gives a rustic look. You may spot some rare birds if you get lucky.

Nice offroad experience for 1km , kindly avoid sedans. location and sceneries mind blowing. Nice place who love nature. Don't expect ultramodern facilities. Very calm and beautiful place, good hospitality, perfect for families with kids above 10 yrs, bachelors and ideal for birdwatchers. Never leave kids unattended -deep water bodes near by. Beauty of nature at its peak and lots of birds and animals around but of-course safe. In short perfect location to enjoy nature away from crowd.
