The Leela Kovalam, a Raviz Hotel

I had an absolutely incredible time on my vacation! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the hotel’s charm and attention to detail. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. Every interaction with them left me feeling valued and well taken care of. The food was nothing short of amazing. Each meal was a delightful experience with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. The quality and presentation were outstanding, and I couldn't get enough of the diverse flavors. As for the amenities, they truly exceeded my expectations. The facilities were pristine and thoughtfully designed, offering everything I needed for relaxation and enjoyment. Whether it was the beautiful pool area, the well-equipped fitness center, or the serene spa, every aspect of the hotel was perfectly curated to enhance the experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch vacation experience. It's clear that the management and staff take great pride in providing an exceptional stay, and I can’t wait to return! Can't wait to return back to this amazing resort 😍

We stayed at the Leela Kovalam for two nights and felt that the experience could have been better, especially given its reputation as a 5-star hotel. While the hotel offers stunning views, it lacks a private beach. This was a significant drawback, as we were frequently interrupted by vendors and outside visitors when we tried to enjoy tea or coffee by the shore. A private beach would greatly enhance the guest experience. On a positive note, the breakfast and dinner were exceptional—definitely a highlight of our stay. The premium view room with a balcony was lovely, but enjoying the balcony was challenging due to the presence of crows, which were quite disruptive. Some measures to address this issue would make a big difference. Lastly, the key card system was frustrating. The cards frequently deactivated when placed near a phone, requiring us to repeatedly return to the front desk to reactivate them. For a hotel of this caliber, such issues are unacceptable and should be addressed. Overall, while there were positives, our expectations were higher given the Leela’s 5-star reputation. Improvements in these areas would elevate the experience significantly.

Amazing property and views, so clean and well maintained. Service was excellent, great nightly programming with traditional dance and performances. Prices are expected for foreigners (quite high, but service is great). Spa was excellent. Complimentary breakfast buffet is a must try. Hope to be back sometime for a another special occasion.

Beautiful property with the most scenic views of the sea. Very comfortable rooms, and the amenities are fantastic. Highly recommend this spot for couples, families, or any kind of relaxing vacation. The staff are extremely hospitable and kind - Kumar at the poolside, Naseem from the guest relations team, and several members of the Terrace Dining team.

Leela as the name says is a beautiful property in Kovalam. The Arabian Sea view rooms are beautifully made. The services are absolutely fantastic and the people very helpful. The only issue is the North Indian food in the breakfast which was not at all exciting.

Bit run down for a 5 star hotel. Only one bath robe in room (here as a couple), didn't refresh the tea, coffee and creamer sachets, staff a bit precious about certain things. Breakfast was good but no bacon. Haven't tried the infinity pool yet but it looks OK. Overall I've no doubt you could find far better for your buck.

Nadeem, was so helpful and guided us through our wonderful journey here! Great service from everyone but to name a couple that really stood out was mitali, and Megtta done a superb job with us for our dinner and breakfast! Such a beautiful and helpful resort to vacation!!! A+

Beautiful Property! We had seen the pictures of this resort and immediately decided to spend 2 days here. The rooms are great, good housekeeping services ( they visit 2-3 times a day to clean and refill water), the resort is huge and so the buggy ride takes care of it. The views are great from all sides of the resort. We booked their sea room villas ( cheapest option I think 🙂) but the view is good and everything is so accessible that there was no need to book their sea facing villas. The breakfast spread was delicious and there were a lot of options . Did not try the spa so can't comment. They do have a complimentary yoga session in the morning and Meditation in the evening. The spa and meditation hall also faces the sea. It was an average experience at meditation . Probably expected something better. Overall a great vacation . Would love to visit again.
