The Byke Puja Samudra Beach Resort Kovalam

Location and services are great. Rooms and property needs maintenance as most of rooms looked to be old with no phones available in room, However they have provided a mobile number for any kind of room service or assistance from reception so it was good. Overall experience was great with kind of staff and services they provide. Limited options for breakfast as they have pure vegetarian restaurant still the provided option are good. Property is very near to Samudra Beach(50 meters) only, we enjoyed strolling at night on the beach and the sunrise in morning.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an incredible experience. The location is perfect, close to all the major attractions - taxi stand, beach, art gallery, main market. One of the standout aspects was the delicious food. You can tell the chefs really care about quality. But what truly made the stay memorable was the amazing staff. They were not only professional but also extremely humble and always happy to help. Their warm smiles and attentive service made us feel right at home. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great food and service.

I had an amazing experience staying at Lake Samudra Byke in Kovalam. The serene beauty of the location, combined with the hotel's charm, made my stay unforgettable. The magnificent sea is just a two-minute walk from the hotel, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and nature. The wooden furniture and artistic touches in the hotel are exceptional, adding to the overall aesthetic. The staff were incredibly amiable and always ready to help. As a solo female traveler, security is a priority for me, and I felt perfectly safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. A special shout-out to the chef who thoughtfully packed me a breakfast for my journey back to Kochi, which was a sweet and thoughtful gesture, especially given my long 7-hour trip ahead. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel for its beauty, hospitality, and attention to detail.

It was my first time in Kerala and I had a very pleasant experience staying at this property. The rooms are big and spacious. The restaurant at the property serves tasty food. Had Breakfast there, it was good. Walking distance to the Samudra beach and auto/taxis available outside on the main road for sightseeing. Overall good experience

*Average Stay We recently spent two days and had mixed experiences. *Pros:* - Room boys were exceptionally polite and helpful. - Excellent service from the staff. *Cons:* - Property feels outdated with old-fashioned rooms. - Limited parking spots, causing inconvenience. - Bathrooms require urgent upgrades. *Overall:* While the staff's hospitality was commendable, the resort itself lacked the ambiance and amenities expected from a resort. It felt more like a hotel.

Pros: 1.location is close to samudra beach. 2. Housekeeping services are good and prompt 3. Checkin and checkout is quiet smooth. Cons: 1. For any help, you have to dial their mobile number “. There is no availability of central line number. 2. Restaurant services are too slow and rates are quite expensive and not worth that much. 3. Rooms have a distinct smell of humidity and moisture. Washroom doesn’t have continuous supply of hot water (instant gyeser) 4.Room and washroom feels like a traditional setup and not very modern as per 3 star property. 5. Vibe of the rooms are not appropriate its full of moisture. 6. Don’t go with the pictures, as it will quiet mislead because of filters and photography Overall its okey to stay but hold on to have any expectations as based on this it should not be called as a 3 star hotel.

Good Stay with Excellent Hospitality, but Infrastructure Needs Immediate Attention I stayed with my family at this hotel in Rooms 202 & 203 from 17th to 20th September 2024, and overall, it was a good experience for my family. One of the major highlights is that it's a Pure Veg Hotel, which was a big plus for us. The hospitality and services were excellent throughout our stay. Special thanks to Pravin Agrawal for ensuring everything went smoothly. We were also treated to some delicious North Indian food, thanks to the two amazing chefs who really made our dining experience memorable. A big shoutout to Aliya, who assisted us in the restaurant with all the services we needed and was always attentive to our requests. The security staff was also very courteous. The only big downside was the ageing infrastructure in the rooms. The bathroom doors, pipes and bed backrests, in particular, require to be changed immediately. 1 star reduced for the room When I mentioned this to Pravin, he informed us that the hotel is already in the process of renovation, which is good to hear. Overall, a decent stay with wonderful service, and hope room renovation will be completed soon. Thank you!

It's a resort that must have seen better days and seem to be in a state of decline. Rooms are decent enough for a night stay but the one we had had a view of a wall . Bathrooms are basic and hot water is thro solar geyser which means you have to wait for about 3 buckets of water to flow out before getting hot water. All around the place could have been cleaner. The nearest beach is not good enough for visiting and you will have to travel to kovalam beach. The food is veg only . The staff is polite and helpful but limited by the resources available
