Booked 3 rooms and was given 2 on the ground and 1 on the 2nd floor, so better confirm if you are travelling together.|Best part is the balcony in each of the room! and we spent most of the time there,|Getting Hot water maybe difficult for most part of the day, you will have to settle with warm water!|But i must say, among the other hotels in that vicinity close to beach, this was one of the good ones since its spacious and nice and 5 min to Hawa beach.|Person who manages it ,is really a nice guy and will help you with everything with a smile.|Looking forward to visiting it again whenever i visit Kovalam|Giving it a 3 star instead of 4 for the price thing!

Travelled in October with family, expected a comfortable stay, seemed good in pictures but the pictures are too far off reality. ||||You have to pull your luggage yourself on a path with drainages on both sides, that is the only way leading to the resort. ||Reaching the resort we discovered there was only one person as the staff who manages the whole resort. We booked three rooms out of which one was found to have a non-functional AC,when we asked to change the room he told us to add some extra charges, later we changed the room as there was no other option. And for the other two rooms it seemed they were controlling the temperature manually from somewhere. ||Then there was no room service, they could only managed to give water that too not mineral, I am not sure was that filtered even? Since we reached at lunch time, we headed for the beach restaurants to have some food, as for our luck, beach was not so far but when it rains, the only way to the beach gets all drenched up in water.||Just for the lack of resort services we decided to be at the beach till night, when returned to the resort just to find again the AC was not working in the room we changed, manager and his technical guy tried and tried on,shouting at each other in their own language, and it went on till midnight, then not for our surprise he again asked to shift the room. ||It was just one night stay at the resort, seemed like there were never ending problems.||Lack of maintenance and poor service. If you are charging like professionals, first be a professional or dont call it a resort. ||All other resorts or hotels in this area at this price are providing far better services like proper AC, room service, restaurant, free internet etc||Not recommended for families.

Not a place overflowing with comfort, but if you opt for a quiet stay with moderate facilities, this is for you. I found this place good for relaxation and also to focus on some work. Though the beach is near, the property is remote to the usual disturbances of a crowded place. The person managing the place is friendly and helpful. Power failure can be a problem as the establishment doesn't have a back-up facility.

I had booked to stay here for a fortnight. I have been to Kerala 5 times, love it here and have many dear, platonic Indian family friends. I asked a close friend to help me with the move to Coco Land. Unfortunately, as we climbed the steps to my room, the staff started shouting at him as though he were a criminal, telling him that he had to wait outside whilst I went lugging suitcases on my own. He took it very graciously but I felt profoundly ashamed of how he had been treated. I left immediately and will never go back. I checked carefully that it would be fine for me to receive Indian guests before I made the reservation as I knew another friend would be visiting later in my stay. Glad I was able to avoid the same treatment for him. If you believe in basic human equality, please don't stay here. They don't deserve your custom.

A beautiful resort walking distance from Kovalam Beach.||The resort is situated in a location accesible only by feet,so we had to park our car at the beach(additonal 25 rupees) and then walk about 200m.There are a number of other hotels as well as DOGS along on this pathway.||There are ayurvedic centres ,one inside the Resort, as well as the surrounding areas.||There is a small supermarket/grocery right opposite the lobby with all basic amenities including toiletries all at market costs.||The resort is very clean, sandals are requested to be removed before entering the rooms,so you can walk barefoot all throughout.||Rooms are as shown in pictures, very spacious ,equipped with empty refrigerator and a 14 inch TV.||Wood paneling is available only in ac deluxe rooms(which is in ground floor). The balcony has a typical kerala sturcture, with fan, sofa and a tea table.Though refreshing to spent an evening, especially the summers, mosquitoes are always flying about ,ready to sting. The room has a mosquito net just above the bed,but my advice would be to buy a mosquito coil as well.||One fault, toilets are only OKAY.Water in toilets have a yellow-ish tint and all accesories in toilet seemed to be rusted or old.Hot water is available throughout but,is also yellow.||All towels, sofas and bedsheets if stained are heavily charged..so be careful of your own actions.||There is no room service but people are friendly and speak decent English.||No breakfast or any other meal options are available, unless maybe on demand, though we never had any.Numerous restaurants are available all along the beachfront..though quite expensive..all famous for seafod delicacies.||The lights around the resort are switched off by 9:30pm..but shacks along beach is open till 11..some till 12am.||Over all, can't complain much :)

its very difficult to reach the hotel...its full of greenery and u have to take ur luggage through a thin strip of land having swamp on both its sides, it was raining wen v reached there and then it started getting hot due to humidity..the ac was not functioning properly, v requested to shift in a new room but the staff man said he will charge extra for it, then after some talks he agreed, v shifted the room but ac over there was not functioning as well..he kept on saying it will get better and at 1 in night said to shift to another room since he can not repair it..beach is near to it like just walking distance but wen it rains, the way to go to beach is filled with water and u have to go through it..so overall not recommended for family..others may manage..there is no restaurant within the hotel though restaurants are nearby only but since it was raining v requested the staff member to arrange for dinner..but he refused..he arranged for morning tea somehow..
