Periyar Nest Resort Thekkady

Very nice and cozy place. Hotel is very beautiful. Amenities are so good. Great view, good room interior. Highly recommended place to stay at Thekkady. Evening time with light hotel becomes a heavenly place. Only draw back is front road is narrow. Driver's bathrooms are not good.

It is not a 3 star hotel. I have booked a honeymoon cottage. The room is good only but no fan is there. Only AC is there that is also not properly working. Room food service is not available, you have to go down to the restaurant and dinner is also not good, breakfast is good. You have to go for water in reception etc..

This hotel is not a 3-star establishment; it’s misleading. While it appears nice from the outside, the inside tells a different story. The room was poorly maintained, the shower didn’t work, and there were insects and lizards roaming freely. I even found insects on the bed. I could only stay for one night and struggled to sleep half the time. When this was reported to the owner, he replied, “This is a forest area; it’s normal for them to come in, and there’s nothing we can do and even the 5 star hotel has insects and lizards inside room” i guess he should visit 5-star sometime.

Worst experience ever there bad food quality worst service had no staff with fluent English or Hindi want to take all payment in advance located in jungle the only thing u like here it's hotel view rest all of the things are worst specially service.. it's not a 3 star hotel.. consider other hotels in place of this

Third class room. Third class furniture with everywhere repairing done. So many red ants on door step. Power cut for 8time in one day stay. Provide only one bottle for 4 persons. No tea in morning breakfast buffet. Manager is not answering any query. The way to hotel is to narrow from residential area.

-Stinking & smelly rooms. -TV not working, -In bathroom' there is no ventilation, Flush Not working, -Ceiling fan not working properly, -Staff is not conversant with Hindi/English. -In Restaurent, bad smell and flies everywhere. Incomplete menu.

I have the worst experience in this hotel. There is no service of of towel replacement as well as flush of that hotels are not working. And as well as the staff is not good to talk with his customer. The staff is too much rude with the customer they not even listening the request of customer.

Their charge is like 4 star hotel. But not value for money Very deep inside, secluded area, with a very narrow road to the hotel. The hotel looks good from out, but the interiors are shabby, not enough lights above that dull coloured walls making it look sad, no mirrors, hangers, no AC, Basic necessary items missing like electric kettle, tea bags, suagar & milk sachets. Very minimal staff to look after.
