Abad Green Forest | Resort in Thekkady

We had a comfortable stay. Ours was a short stay and we could relax very well in mids of the trees. The kids enjoyed the pool and scenic beauty of the resort. The food and service were excellent, the HK staff was fast on their errands. Good to see the Resort Manager and Chef assisting the guest in the restaurant. All the hotel staffs were very welcoming and cordial and deserve an appreciation.

The Hotel location is Perfect proximity to the Tiger Preserve. Hotel has Monkeys running through the trees and jumping on the balcony. Therefore, be careful with what you put out on your balcony and lock the sliding glass doors or you will bet un-invited guest. The monkeys are cute and entertaining.||Peppermint Resturant has a good menu but 1/2 the items are NOT AVAILABLE. Therefore very very limited. Also No Bar. The Moose & Malt bar is a close 10 min walk. Hotel is undergoing expansion construction that is Not very organized or considerate of the guests. Construction starts before breakfast, which starts late at 8AM and ends at 10AM. Construction noise is bad at breakfast. Additionally the construction kills the pool enjoyment. ||The Hotel Power constantly goes out and resets the WIFI signal.||The Hotel is the best one in the area and very convenient to the Tiger Preserve. Therefore, I recommend this Hotel. Best bang for the price and service. Staff professional & friendly with making you pleased with your stay.||The tiger preserve is great, but if you want to see animals get your walking shoes and take the raft and trek. You will need to trek deep into the park too see the wildlife.

The rooms I stayed in was well furnished, with a balcony overlooking the greenery. The washroom was very clean with all necessary gadgets. The path from the room to the restaurant was through a well maintained garden. The swimming pool was quite good. The restaurant served sumptuous food and the price tag was reasonable.|Most importantly, the behaviour of the staff was very good and extremely helpful.

We stayed at Abad Green Forest in one of their cottages, which were clean and well-maintained. The location of the property is good. The food was decent, but there wasn’t much variety in the dining menu, which could get a bit repetitive if you're staying for an extended period. Other than that, everything else was fine

I stayed for two nights with my wife and kid. There is a lot to like about the resort. It is located in the main itself that is very good thing but still quite isolated feel inside that's really great. And the service is good aswell . The complementary breakfast tasted very nice, South Indian dishes idly, dosa and sambars were so good, delicious food I would say. Swimming pool was decent though I prefer the temperature adjustable swimming pool for these climates. Didn't try massages but heard it will be good. Rooms were very neat and clean, washroom was good too. Safer for family. Highly recommended

Had an amazing vacation with Abad Green, good ambiance, staffs are excellent, good communication and responsible. The way resort is maintained is great. We really enjoyed the pool time. It’s neat and clean. North Indian food is not available for breakfast…at the resort, there is a market nearby, you can eat there

It was a pleasant, relaxing stay at Abad Green Forest. Rooms very super clean and spacious. Though buildings are aged, amenities are upto date. Even though the location is just in the middle of Kumily town, we were able to enjoy the vibe of a thick Green Forest inside the property. The whole campus is landscaped nicely. They have a nice pool, which we enjoyed thoroughly(There were some construction happening near the pool during day hours, but evening it was calm). All the service requests were attended promptly by the staff. Food was okay, nothing much to highlight. The complementary breakfast spread was good. Overall I will definitely recommend this property for a relaxing stay near Thekkady.
