Casa Amari Plantation Resort

If you like a slightly secluded stay then this might worth a shot. The road to the resort isn't the best as of 2024 so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Rooms are okish but staffs are very nice and friendly

Dear Casa Amari plantation resort, We don’t have problem in the distance as you have already mentioned during our conversation.I asked for 1st floor room because it was facing the mountain for a good view but you denied it as you told these were already booked.I have already paid you advance about 6000 and the room was about 4500 and I asked for a single night.We asked you only to reduce our food bill from rest of the advance.The restaurant and the resort both were run by the same person then why can’t you reduce from that? It’s not refundable ok but why can’t you reduce from the advance?Still you have our 1500 and it’s a completely wrong from your side. The rooms were not comfortable as the locks were not proper and the service were too poor.There were no proper security and the food cost was too high.Bathroom was too worse.You didn’t give food in the morning as you told it’s complementary when I asked your receptionist he told its chargeable I took my children without having our breakfast. With the same price I have stayed in a room in Munnar it was so comfortable and safe and the service was so good and good responding. At the end rooms were not worthable for this cost.

Beware, no water in bathrooms at night. Don't be misled by the photos. There is no water in the toilets at night and when you complaint, you get the answer that either you can get bucket or you can use other room's toilet. There is no shop in the near vicinity and the resort is at a completely secluded place. Food is below average. Breakfast options are very limited and taste is not up to the standard. I will give it 1 star

Excellent and good place to stay this is my 2nd time awesome even though it's good and new experience everytime everyone should come and stay . Top of the mountains view is nice place .

The rooms and the location were nice and okay. But the road to the resort was very bad. Its little bit away from the city. The road was not so good with so many steep climbs and turns. Will recommend to reach the resort before dark as there is no streetlights in between. The food they provide was also nice and tasty. The ambience was also good.

The resort is super clean and staffs are super nice. The location of the resort is breathtaking. It's spread over 10 acres of land. Must stay if you're planning a visit to Munnar. The food is super tasty. The buffet spread was awesome, they cooked food for group of 60 and it wasn't a hassle for them and all of us got the very good quality food. I would highly recommend stay here.
