The room had multiple issues that made the experience very uncomfortable. The flush in the bathroom wasn’t working, which was highly inconvenient. There was no power port available to charge my mobile, which was surprising in this day and age. The wash basin didn’t have running water, making basic hygiene challenging. To add to the inconvenience, there weren’t even hangers in the bathroom to keep clothes or towels. Overall, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

I had a terrible stay at this hotel, mainly due to the lack of cleanliness and basic amenities. When I checked into my room, it was clear that housekeeping had skipped several steps. The floor was dusty, the bathroom had hair in the sink, and there were spots on the mirrors and windows. It looked like the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in ages.On top of that, several essential items were missing. There were no towels, no toiletries, and not even a kettle or coffee maker, which should be standard. I had to call the front desk multiple times just to get basic supplies, and when they finally arrived, they were handed over with a rude attitude, as if I was bothering them.For the price I paid, I expected at least a clean room and the basics to be available without constantly asking for them. This hotel needs serious improvements in both its cleanliness and service. I would not recommend staying here.

This hotel has to be one of the worst I have ever been to. The view is good, but the walls of the rooms are completely soiled and damaged. The rooms do not have sufficient lighting and the bathroom is excessively small and dirty. There is absolutely no service from the staff members of the hotel and they don't even provide with a soap in the bathroom. There are some good sides of the hotel, like the location was good, and the rooms were spacious. But I will definitely not recommend this hotel.

I stayed in this hotel in September 2024 with family. But as I felt that this is below average hotel. Old styled hotel looks like less maintained guest house. Staff was like they are bound to provide fewer facilities. They only provide 1 towel for 2 people. Inside of rooms, there was no proper paint on the walls and dents and scrapes on painted walls. They didn’t even properly clean the rooms. Location is around 300 meters from the main road and 2 km far from the main Munnar market. Also, one thing was good, which was the location outside of the hotel. View is good from the hotel windows, but still, they can not justify the fewer amenities they provide. They provided dinner and breakfast, which was ok. There was rainy weather, and the surface was wet and sticky during the night. Cracks on Washbasin looks like it will break anytime. Hot water was not available in the morning. Overall, the manager there was trying to give his good for us, but I will not recommend this hotel to all. This hotel needs a proper renovation as it looks ok from the outside, but from the inside It really looks like a Less maintained guest house with no proper paints and stains everywhere. Even the blankets provided were really thin, not even washed, which were not giving proper warm in cold nights. Hope the management will consider the points also other reviews from the guests.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Poopada Hotel I recently stayed at Poopada Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown.The check-in process was slow and inefficient, with staff appearing disinterested in providing any sort of hospitality. When we were booking the rooms we were sent pictures of therooms which looked luxurious but when we went there they gave us completely different rooms and they were already used and we're not cleaned after guests as they mentioned. Upon entering the room, I was shocked by the outdated decor and worn-out furniture. The bed was uncomfortable, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom was no better, with moldy grout and there was no hot water. The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired, with dusty surfaces and stained carpets in common areas. Overall, my experience at poopada Hotel was extremely disappointing. Only the view is beautiful.I would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Rooms are spacious. it’s better to avoid staying with families and kids in this resort . Please don’t order any food in this resort. we have ordered eggs(a lot) and the owner has charged Rs.25 per boiled egg. When we asked about the over pricing, owner does not respond properly and we left like we offered for charity. God bless them abundantly to help poor people.

I've stayed here for 2 Days with my family. Just an amazing environment. The location of this resort is to be appreciated because it's just a few km away from the town where you can get anything within minutes. The main thing I want to share is the back side of this resort which has a pleasant view of the tea leaf garden which is wholesome. If you want a blissful morning than a room facility you can go for it. Nice service provided by Issac. Appreciated for their polite behaviour.

It's the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I booked a standard deluxe room for three adults and a child, but the room they gave us had a bad smell, no TV, and no lock on the bathroom door. When I asked for a different room, they said none were available. If the room isn't up to standard, they should upgrade my room. Even though I paid the full amount at the time of booking, they made me sleep on the floor.
