We had an extremely disappointing experience with this resort. We paid a ₹2000 advance after being told that the swimming pool was included in the room rent. However, when we arrived, the so-called manager told us the pool wasn’t available. When we explained that this had already been confirmed with another staff member during booking, he casually dismissed it, saying that person had quit and he didn’t know what was discussed. When asked how he got our details, he claimed he just saw it in the register and refused to give a straight answer. He insisted we take our advance back and find another place. Meanwhile, the person we initially booked with kept ignoring our calls, and we later heard WhatsApp voice messages in Malayalam where the manager was telling him not to answer our calls—assuming we wouldn’t understand the language. Completely unprofessional and shady. To make matters worse, we had to go around searching for another room while my father, who has knee issues, was with us and clearly struggling. It was extremely inconvenient and stressful. The manager was rude and unhelpful throughout, and it was obvious they planned to rent the room to someone else at a higher price. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away if you want a hassle-free trip.

Very good wooden finished building with 4 bedrooms. I was with my friends of 4 family, and I stayed here for a night. Positives: 1. Neat and clean 2. Wooden finish (traditional look) 3. Friendly Host (great hospitality) 4. Nearest location (athirappilly waterfalls) 5. AC and Heater were working perfectly 6. Neat and clean pool (water filter cleaning) Negatives: (it's not negatives, can make better) 1. Pool is shared for 4-5 villas with time slots(only private for us for 1 hour) extra charge for more time.

Simply very pathetic situation Swimming pool water not filtered for the last three days Kitchen waste was not removed from there leading to foul smell Inverter was not working Waste of time and money. Very poor management They spoiled our trip

The pool timing was not mentioned before and there is some walkable distance from property to pool .. and after 11 pool cannot be used .. anyone assuming full day party with pool can be disappointed

A peaceful and clean stay place but Found a few rats and frogs in the bathroom, yet the room was clean and had a good time during the stay

Great time in staying. Well located and majority of house is of wood which gave good feel. Food was ok and service is good. Wonderful experience. House was maintained good. Service by the manager and other attenders were pleasing which gave wonderful experience. Though there were language barriers their understanding and service is notable. Overall had a great stay for 3 days in jack root and recommend to others to experience the same.

We have stayed there with the whole family around 20 members (including kids) for 2 days. It was a nice experience and we really enjoyed. Walkable distance to the river. We had a nice time in the river and also in the pool. This is a nice place for families and also for Bachelors. Excellent service and the food they have arranged was really good. I recommend this place to everyone.

Our weekend stay at Jackroot Heritage was awesome. The place is clean and value for money. Hosts are sweet and helpful.
