NillMount Tales Vagamon Resort is a great place to visit if you're in Vagamon. It offers plenty of play areas, and the food is quite good. However, the service could use improvement, as there was no security present, and we weren’t given a warm welcome upon arrival. That said, the ambience is pleasant, and the rooms are well-maintained. Hopefully, they will address these issues soon.

NillMount Tales Vagamon - A Tranquil Homestay Experience Mount Tales Vagamon is a charming homestay nestled in the serene hills of Vagamon. The property offers breathtaking views from its rooms, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and solitude. Situated away from busy roads and tourist crowds, it provides a calm and quiet atmosphere. Accommodation & Services: The rooms are clean and well-maintained, though there’s room for improvement in terms of aesthetics to match the pricing. Food is available on request, and the staff ensures that guests’ demands, including providing heaters, are met with prompt service. Overall, the hospitality is commendable. Security: The property is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, which adds a sense of safety. However, the absence of on-site security personnel at night could be a concern for some guests. Accessibility: The resort is approximately 2 km from the main road, but the drive takes around 20 minutes due to the poor condition of the access roads. This could be a minor inconvenience for some visitors. Conclusion: Despite a few areas for improvement, Mount Tales Vagamon offers a pleasant stay with stunning views and peaceful surroundings. It is a good choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle of city life and immerse themselves in nature.

NillThe property was well maintained and service is also exceptional. One gripe was the approach road, which Is promised to be made soon. Property was bit showing its age despite its exceptional maintenance, but still nothing to complaint at all. Adequate parking and space in room.

NillI had an amazing experience at this beautiful hilltop spot with breathtaking scenery. The ambiance was perfect, offering a peaceful escape and a relaxing vibe that felt just right. The food was delicious, with a homely touch that made every meal comforting and satisfying. Traveling with a kid can be tricky, but they were so accommodating, even allowing me to prepare food suited to my little one’s needs. The service was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. For the quality, the experience was absolutely superb for the price. Highly recommend this gem! Thankyou Team Mount Tales.

NillThe title of the stay might be misleading for some. It's technically a homestay and not a resort. So certain amenities like room service etc and all aren't always available. The staff were kid and sweet. We had booked the pent house room which was alright. The main draw back of the room was there weren't any ceiling fans available. Only pedestal fans and a wall mounted fan. The food was alright as well. Nothing over the top but would suggest the barbecue grill Chicken ( little but expensive) but they'll grill it for you then and there. The biggest drawback of this place is reaching the homestay. The road leading up to the homestay is absolutely horrible and will literally not want to make you go out again due to how bad the condition of the road is. It's almost a 2km inward road from the main road.

NillI had high hopes for my stay at Mountain tales, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment from start to finish. The worst part of our experience was the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff. From check-in to check-out, every interaction with the staff was unpleasant. They acted as if they were doing us a favor by assisting, and any requests were met with cold, dismissive attitudes. It was like as if we are staying there for free!!!!!! The food was another letdown. The quality was very poor, with bland flavors and an unappetizing presentation. To top it off, the service was incredibly slow, making every meal an ordeal. We even found some dishes to be poorly cooked, which was unacceptable given the rates we paid. The overall service was perhaps the worst I’ve encountered in any resort. Rooms were not cleaned properly, and getting any assistance required multiple calls. I would not recommend Mounain tales Resort to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway. This experience was far below the standards expected at a place marketed as a friendly destination. Avoid this place if you value good service, decent food, and respectful staff. Especially the guy name Ajith was so rude..better fire him already.

NillOverall place is good but road which connects to this place is very bad with up and downs many stones, its bit difficult for hatchback vehicles. Breakfast is limited options and only 1 item was available. View from hotels are amazing. Almost 6kms from center and no nearby restaurants for foods. You can try this hotel when you have own transport

NillWe booked the resort based on the reviews and I should say it was true to it. It a serene calm place without hustle bustle around if you want to just relax amidst the mystic hills around. The place is safe to stay. Only to reach there some 1km area road is not built its a stony road and you need to be a good driver in hills to reach this resort. But once you reach, you will enjoy the views and ambience. The room was very good clean and had hot water geyser also. Toiletries were provided. There is a almirah to keep your clothes, overall a nice room with all amenities, only that wifi downstairs was very erratic, not stable and we had inform them to look into it, but may it was an issue as rooms with verandah was a little aloof downstairs. For food they prepare it there in the kitchen and it was a simple breakfast on both days one day idli and other day dosa, so you will have to inform them in advance if you need any other item. For dinner also you need to tell them in advance. There is no buffet or proper menu like ala carte there. But the service and nature of the cook and caretaker was very nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay because we were looking for a calm and quiet place away from the city hustles. It was worth it.
