Amazing setting |Beautiful cottages and delicious food - we had fish tawa fry for dinner which was undoubtedly the best we have had in Kerala. It was also our anniversary and the hotel provided us complimentary cake which was also too good. The breakfast was also delicious- right quantity, savoury, and will leave you wanting to try out the entire menu.|For us the one night stay at the hotel was worth the 5 hour drive from Kochi - and the drive was good too with wide two lane roads.

Niraamaya Cardamom Club, Thekkady is undeniably one of the most beautiful properties we visited. Surrounded by lush greenery, spices across the estate, and rooms tucked beautifully within nature — the views and atmosphere are genuinely a 10/10. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and disconnected from the chaos. The property itself is serene, scenic, and perfect for anyone looking to unwind amidst nature. Waking up to greenery all around was definitely the highlight of the stay. However, the service experience was unfortunately quite disappointing. The rooms were average, but the bigger issue was the dining and overall responsiveness. Even after placing food orders well in advance, something or the other was always missed or forgotten. A large portion of the menu was unavailable, and despite the property operating on an à la carte setup due to lower occupancy, basic availability and coordination still seemed lacking. Simple things like cold water or even ice cubes were unavailable at times, which was surprising for a property of this scale. It honestly felt like the hotel was running with very limited staff, possibly even just one chef managing everything. Another concern was the pool maintenance — a few tiles inside the pool were broken, and some broken pieces were lying inside, which did not feel safe and definitely needs immediate attention. Overall, the property is visually stunning and perfect for relaxation, but the food, maintenance, and service experience really took away from what could have been an exceptional stay. One leaves wondering how much the breathtaking views are carrying the overall experience.

If you love calm serene stay amidst nature, this is the perfect place. Their hospitality is very welcoming. The pool is awesome & perfect for families.!! The stay is located quite away from main town. There is a spa inside the property and food is also good.

We stayed in December 2022. We are sorry only to be writing a review now, but we recently remembered our amazing experience at Niraamaya. During our stay, I fell very ill, and thanks to the amazing support from the staff I was safely taken to a nearby hospital. We were wholeheartedly looked after by Niraamaya when I made it back. Easily extending our booking and going above and beyond. We hope to stay again someday. Thank you again for your kind hospitality.

Location is fine Property is clean Pool well maintained Garden and premises also restuarant are good Staffs especially security people were very polite and good Restuarant staffs were good ....since buffet is not available over there ,staffs looks too busy...if it was buffet it would have been better I think jat a suggestion only . Good ambience,got mist and rain during mine stay ..from my room which named saffron we got a good moutain view with mist and rain .it was awesome..that view and cold climate with rain made our day ..rooms were clean.. A 2km ride from main road to this property where roads were good , jst infront of the property a small concreting is necessary. Property looks big in images in site but is not.. Please don't book through agoda I booked a garden view cottage but didn't get the room which is mentioned in the site..room pictures given in the site and the room I got was different.. When I asked about this in the resort, the staff said the room named saffron that they provide to us comes under garden view cottage... We adjusted with the room we got since I have paid the entire amount in advance. So I suggest customers to book directly calling the resort and ask them the pics of the rooms before paying advance....so if we didn't get the exact room we booked we can cancel and get another resort.. Our room was below an other room from which disturbing sounds of chair moving was there...we adjusted because.. there is no point in asking the staffs in the property... Will never visit any of the niraamaya property ever again. An experience for us..thankyou
