Wild Elephant Resort Munnar

I recently had to visit here for a family vacation. Worst experience i ever had in a resort. The rooms were untidy, it was stinky, even there was no water for our basic needs. There were kids and elderly, and they couldn't even provide basic facilities. The caretaker was so irresponsible and he was not there at the spot. When we reached , he immediately took the full payment and the guy vanished. No response for both cellular and whatsapp calls. Even there is very poor connectivity in that locality, even threatens your safety. So horrible we have to vacate from there and for God's sake we got an airbnb very neat and tidy for half the price of this wild resort. Yes, as the name says it was very wild and weird experience we had. Still it was a better decision to leave from there even in the night.The location was good, but the management is so poor, not clening properly and even the pool doesn't have clean water. Never in my life I'll suggest this to anyone. ANYONE!!!

Wild അവരാതം resort....|Horrible experience...|Avoid this resort at all costs, especially if you are traveling with family. We drove over 200 km from Calicut to Munnar with a group consisting mostly of ladies and tired children. After such an exhausting journey,|​We booked a stay at this resort recently but had to vacate almost immediately after checking in...|Upon arrival we discovered there was absolutely no running water for the showers.|​Basic utilities like water are a bare minimum expectation for any accommodation, |Because the property could not provide this basic necessity, we refused to stay and demanded a full refund, which was processed so we could leave.|the management was completely uncooperative. We literally had to shout and argue with the staff just to get our refund processed...|The lack of maintenance and the massive inconvenience of having to find alternative accommodations at the last minute completely ruined our plans. I cannot recommend booking here until they fix their basic infrastructure.. There is no privacy...clear glass windows with no proper curtains..Room full of insects..||🚨 They gave sealed looking water bottles that have actually been refilled from a local tap or unknown source is incredibly dangerous, especially when you have tired children with you who could easily get sick.... 🚨

Read this before booking If you’re planning to book Wild Elephant Resort, be very careful. When you reach the location, you won’t find any name board for Wild Elephant Resort. You’ll only see Echo Exotica — right opposite / next to it. That’s where the confusion starts. Both properties are handled together. Bookings are mixed. You may book one resort and get placed in the other. The photos you see online mostly reflect the better property and rooms. If you book a standard or deluxe room, you’ll likely be shifted to the other side — cramped rooms, poorly maintained, badly renovated. Staff attitude: Good Service: below average Food: okay Yes, the view is genuinely beautiful — no doubt there. But a good view alone doesn’t justify this price. For this amount of money, you can get far better rooms, space, and experience elsewhere. Advice: If you still plan to book, double-check: Exact property name Exact room category Exact location inside the resort Otherwise, skip it and spend your money somewhere that respects guests.

Resort is in a very beautiful scenic place. Need renovation. Staffs and service were good according to us coz the trip was with family.food was nice. Special thanks to the manager.

Very nice view and nice swimming pool.The resort is all good All the staff have a good attitude, mainly Ashish. He is good support and knows how to treat a guest. All the food is super. The money was not wasted
