The Cliff Resort-Munnar

The view is fantastic. We had a two bed apartment as travelled as a family and it was lovely. Along with the view, a standout of this property is the restaurant team and the quality of their food. Sabareesh , one of the chefs, is just great. He makes time every evening to chat with the guests and explains the dishes of the night. He made our stay very enjoyable.

I stayed 3 nights in the Top Valley View room at The Cliff Resort Munnar, and it was an unforgettable experience. The view is simply breathtaking—pictures don't do it justice. The viewpoint inside the resort is absolutely jaw-dropping. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of tasty options. Lunch and dinner were average, but the amazing location more than makes up for it. The weather was wonderfully cold, and hot water was available whenever needed. The best part is the peace and quiet—no traffic noise, just nature all around. Perfect for a honeymoon or anyone looking to spend quality time away from the busy city. One thing to note: the road leading to the resort is quite steep, so drive carefully. If you're looking for stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and a memorable stay in Munnar, don't think twice—The Cliff Resort is an excellent choice! A great resort with great valley views from the room balcony. Even though it's little outside the Munnar town, it's definitely worth it. Rooms were very clean and service was great and staff were very helpful. Since, the resort is in slightly a remote place had to have lunch and dinner in the resort itself and food was definitely worth it. It was tasty, except for tea and coffee which wasn't that good.

The rooms have very good view of the valley and the breakfast was really good. We liked their service too. The approach to the resort from the main road could have some street lights to make it more comfortable at nights. The indoor games needs to be upgraded... Overall it was a pleasant stay..

It’s just about 4 km from the KSRTC bus stand, but getting there feels like a mini adventure because it’s perched quite high up on a mountain. The road is a bit tricky, not gonna lie but once you reach, you completely forget the struggle. The view is insane. Like, way better than what you see in their booking photos. Those pics seriously don’t do it justice. We got Room 702 (Hillview room), and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to that balcony view felt unreal. The whole property has a really calm, secluded vibe super peaceful, no noise, just you and the hills. Even at night, the ambience is beautiful. There’s also a small play area above the building, plus a cute little viewpoint set up by the resort. If you’re up for it, there’s a small climb nearby that kind of feels like a mini trek not officially part of the resort(I think), but definitely worth trying. Staff were genuinely nice and helpful, and service was smooth overall. The dinner we ordered was really good too. Only small downside: the breakfast didn’t quite match the level of the place. It was just okay, nothing special. But since it’s complimentary, it didn’t really bother us much. Overall, we left more than satisfied. If you’re okay with a slightly challenging ride to reach the place, this stay is 100% worth it for the views and peaceful vibe alone.
