Trip Mount

I usually plan a staycation with my family every 3 months, and since Vagamon is nearby, we visit quite often. I've stayed at around 12–13 resorts there, including many that are popular on social media. Unfortunately, Tripmount Resort was one of the worst experiences I've had. If you're planning to visit during the monsoon season, I would not recommend this resort. When we checked in, the room had water leaking from the ceiling, and the entire floor was wet. To make things worse, there was no hot water for a shower. I'm not sure if the issue was limited to our room or affected others as well. I called the reception 5–6 times, but no one answered. After waiting for nearly an hour, a staff member finally arrived and said the issue had been fixed. However, the same problem happened again after he left. I've never experienced this kind of poor service at any other resort. Considering the tariff is around ₹6,500 per night, it's absolutely not worth the money. The property itself is beautiful, and the views are amazing, but the service is very disappointing. The only highlight of our stay was the food. It was delicious, and I really appreciate the chef for maintaining such good quality. Overall, because of the poor service and maintenance, I would not recommend this resort.

A great bonus is that they use only farm-fresh, local ingredients—no preserved foods, a common practice across Kerala.||||You can choose to dine in the hall or opt for in-room dining.||||Additional Facilities & Activities||Campfire & DJ: In the evening, the resort hosts a cozy campfire, often with live music (a guitarist was performing during our stay). It’s a great way to enjoy the cool mountain weather and socialize with fellow guests.||||Nearby Attractions: The resort is close to popular attractions like the Adventure Park and Vagamon Meadows. If you’re feeling adventurous, a jeep safari can be arranged through the receptionist for an additional cost (₹2500 for a 3-hour ride covering 6 spots, accommodating up to 7 people).||||Rooms & Service||Rooms are equipped with 24/7 hot water and essential toiletries. The staff is friendly and available around the clock to assist with anything you need, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.||||Suggestions for Fellow Travelers:||Order Dinner Early: The limited dinner menu requires ordering by 6 PM, so plan ahead if you want to dine at the resort.||||Relax & Enjoy the Pool: Don’t miss the infinity pool! It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring.||||Check for Local Restaurants: If you want more lunch options, there are a few restaurants just a short walk away.||||Arranging Activities: Ask the receptionist about the jeep safari or other activities early in the day to secure your spot.

The location is amazing and the rooms were clean and neat.The place feels connected to nature. The highlight for us was the staff. Special mention to Musafir— he was genuinely wonderful. He made sure we were comfortable the whole time. Super polite, always smiling, and went out of his way without making it feel forced. Food was great too Would 100% come back, Highly recommend this resort if you want calm, good hospitality.

Had an amazing stay at this resort! The view is absolutely breathtaking and easily one of the best parts of the experience. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was truly refreshing. The property is well-maintained, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The atmosphere is perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind away from the busy city life. We’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the breathtaking view, but also for the excellent food. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking for visiting the area! 🍲🍤🐟✨😍

Trip Mount Stays is truly one of the best places to stay in Vagamon! The location is beautiful, and the breathtaking views of the mountains and surrounding landscape make the stay absolutely worth it. 🌄❤️ What really stood out to us was the exceptional hospitality and kindness of the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. A special mention for their wonderful gesture of offering us tea, coffee, and other refreshments without charging us. These small gestures genuinely make a big difference and show how much they care about their guests. If you're planning a trip to Vagamon and looking for a peaceful place with stunning views, excellent hospitality, and a homely atmosphere, I would definitely recommend Trip Mount Stays.
