Jickys Nest

A well-maintained stay that offered everything in one package. Private parking was available, and the room and surroundings were clean and peaceful. Fresh towels, bedsheets, and pillows with covers were provided. The hot shower worked well, and the washroom was filled with natural light (with LED lighting too). The property is within walking distance of both the main road and the cliff. Surrounded by greenery, which was my top priority. The garden and pathways were neatly maintained. Walking barefoot, slowing down, and taking deep breaths made it easy to feel connected to nature. Although there was no AC, the room stayed pleasantly cool. I believe the surrounding greenery helps keep the temperature comfortable. The host and staff were very friendly, maintaining minimal contact and never being intrusive. There was no unwanted loud music or noise, which made the stay calm and relaxing.

Had a wonderful stay at Jickys Nest in Varkala. The resort has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by greenery and just a short walk from the cliff and beach. It’s a perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always available whenever we needed something. They maintained the rooms well and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. A special mention to the owner (Jaison,Jackson) who is extremely warm and welcoming. They personally interacts with guests and makes sure everything is running smoothly, which adds a really homely touch to the stay. The Wi-Fi speed was quite good—stable enough for browsing, streaming, and even some work. No interruptions or connectivity issues during the stay. Overall, Jickys Nest is a great place to stay in Varkala if you want comfort, calm surroundings, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

We are a UK family of 5. Jackson and his team could not have been more helpful or more likeable. We loved our Cottage room - very spacious and comfortable. The garden is a wonderfully peaceful haven, despite being so close to the craziness of the cliff. As a family, we had 2 rooms next door as well (Aryavilla Heritage) - but we wished we could all have stayed here at Jicky's Nest because it was a vastly superior experience in every respect. Not a great place. Mediocre rooms, wrong photo on google. Owner and staff with attitude problem. Yard around the buildings (4 old buildings) in dilapidated condition. Better places around with same rate but unmatched quality, on the better side.

Lovely spacious room, very clean. The staff on site were always helpful. Very close to the beach, restaurants and shops (1 min walk) but peaceful overnight. Would recommend.
