MPT Tourist Village, Shivpuri

My experience at MPT Hotel was generally positive. The rooms were comfortable, though they initially had a slight odor that needed some airing out. The overall ambiance was pleasant, and the service was satisfactory, with the staff being attentive. However, one staff member lacked professionalism, displaying a sarcastic attitude toward my driver, which was disappointing. Additionally, the designated eating areas for drivers and staff were not well-maintained, which could be improved for better overall hospitality.

Service , food , all are services is excellent. It's very nice place for family function , birthday celebration and outing with family and friends. Resort cleaning and services is very good. Resort staff very supporting. Very nice place for stay at shivpuri location.

The ONLY Madhya Pradesh Tourism managed hotel worth staying in. Has been very recently renovated to a very high order. The staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant food was of a high standard.

This is the best place to stay if you are in Shivpuri or to visit Shivpuri to stay at this place. The resort is amazing scenic beauty and the view from the room is awesome.|The food is quite good and the hospitality is one of best you will ever find. All the staff at the hotel is always smiling and readily take all the orders and complete it in a jiff.||It's a must visit place to stay and enjoy the hospitality.

**Disappointing Changes at a Once-Charming Resort** I stayed at the resort last weekend in the new Chinkara Villa, and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t as great as my previous stay two years ago. To start with, there is **no proper ventilation in the new villa**, which caused the bathrooms to become quite smelly. On top of that, the **water pressure in the bathrooms was disappointingly low**, making showers less than enjoyable. The resort advertises working Wi-Fi, but there was **no functioning Wi-Fi** during our stay, which was quite inconvenient. On the bright side, the **staff were as attentive as always**, offering great service whenever needed. The **breakfast**, though repetitive over all four mornings, was **well-cooked and tasty**. One major change I noticed was with the property’s architecture. The lawn now has **granite**, which becomes **slippery in rainy weather**. During my previous stay, the lawn was made of **sandstone**, which contributed to the resort's charming, heritage feel. Sadly, this sense of charm is fading as they’ve started constructing **tall modern blocks**, obstructing the **beautiful views of the nearby lake**. It’s heartbreaking to see a property from the 80s, with so much character, losing its architectural appeal. Overall, I’m disappointed with the changes. The staff and food are still reliable, but the atmosphere and experience have taken a downturn. I hope the management reconsiders the direction they are taking with these renovations.

The MPT Tourist village Shivpuri is where I have stayed often.but this time I was to witness a pleasant change. The Ambience has magnified. Rooms,Reception,Dining Hall,Corridors, Illumination and all furniture have been changed and the MPT with new look was a treat. There were modern chandeliers, Lounge and lighting systems and the room decor was of international level.Clearly a quantum leap from the yester years.Me and my wife did however miss one thing - the Swing (Jhoola) which was there in the garden before, but was conspicuous by it's absence now. Service has also bettered and is always with a smile.Food was - as always - delightfully tasty.For the Drivers a new Dormitory has been made where they can rest and sleep.A newAirconditioned Villa has been made in front for letting out to a family for exclusive stay.One can see that towards the rear, new rooms are being constructed from where scenic river views would be seen.
