A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE AT RAJ SAGAR RESORT - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I wish I could give zero stars to this disgraceful establishment. My recent stay at Raj Sagar Resort was without a doubt the worst hospitality experience of my life. From the moment we arrived, everything went downhill rapidly. The rooms were absolutely filthy - stained sheets, dirt in every corner, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The furniture was broken and the entire room had a foul odor that made it impossible to sleep. The service was non-existent. We waited nearly an hour for someone to even acknowledge our presence at the restaurant, only to be served cold, stale food that was completely inedible. When we tried to complain, the staff simply ignored us or responded with extreme rudeness. The owner himself is the most unprofessional and hostile person I've ever encountered in the hospitality industry. When we questioned the quality of the food, he actually came to our table and began arguing aggressively with us. It was intimidating and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, at 2 AM, someone from the staff was actually ringing doorbells demanding payment for bills we had already settled! When we called the owner to complain about this harassment, his behaviour was even more appalling than before. This place is grossly overpriced for the third-class facilities they provide. The staff appears either completely untrained or possibly drunk, and none of them seem to have even basic hospitality training. I cannot emphasize enough: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. There are far better options nearby that actually value their customers. Raj Sagar Resort is a disgrace to the hospitality industry and should be avoided by anyone looking for a decent place to stay or dine. This isn't just a bad hotel - it's a complete nightmare that will ruin your trip and leave you feeling cheated and disrespected.

I stayed at Hotel Raj Sagar, Ujjain and my experience was very disappointing. The bed condition is very poor and uncomfortable. Service is extremely slow and unprofessional. There is no proper arrangement for hanging or keeping clothes in the bathroom. Even for basic needs, like a bathroom kit, you have to inform them 1–2 hours in advance. Charges are very high compared to the facilities and quality provided. I noticed open wall fan wiring, which is unsafe, especially for kids. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and I will not stay here again.

Not worth the money at all. The room had poor lighting, the bed was uncomfortable, and the staff was unprofessional. Overall, the experience was disappointing — the hotel doesn’t match the price they charge. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

It’s a under rated place guy pls must visit here you’ll amage with interior and the quality of food. And the waiter “Sudhir” is so humble to while serve the food. Thank u for service 🙏🏻

Don’t go to this hotel, Very bad experience, rooms so dirty, staff very rude, at night 2 AM ringing bells for bill payments. If we complain to owner of hotel then his behaviour was very bad.

Only taste of food was good but poor service, it was taking huge time in bringing second round of chaptis. Restaurant was not clean, so dirty. Only I am giving 2 star for food was ok. Rest too costly, one roti costs you near 30 rs. So better find some good place.
