Magnolia By The Beach

The location is right on the beach. The beach is clean and the waters are clear. The beach is really long and is not crowded. There are water sports available on the beach, but you need to bargain. The property itself is ok. It has 8 good sized rooms. On the first day, two rooms had voltage issues and no electricity but our family was shifted to other spare rooms for the night and the next day that was rectified. Another rooms bathroom light was not functioning. The rooms are not very clean, the cupboards provided was dusty. There was a shortage of staff, most of the times there was no one at the reception and hence the service slow. But it’s a small property, so can’t complain. Food was good. A bit on the expensive side. But the service is slow if there are a few more guests. On the negative side, they don’t have liquor license. You can carry your own to consume in the room. The beers were not chilled enough. They wouldn’t provide ice. They should invest in a cool box for the same or have refrigerators in the room. They have a generator and provided us with electricity even when there was none. They will arrange taxis and rickshaws for you for nearby daily excursions. All in all, our trip was great, exactly what we wanted. A quiet holiday on the beach.

This resort is located like outside the city, it is less crowded, so you can have a really peaceful time over there like there are many resorts which is after this resort like if we go ahead from this resort, even find out photo or something like that. So yeah, but those resorts were really really expensive. This was also one kind of an expensive hotel. Only. It was not like 5 to 6000. Don’t remember correctly, but it wasn’t like that so and the services were good. The rooms were good, view was great. We visited in around me, so the beaches is accessible and you have to have a walk around hundred 200 m. Maybe so we went there in the morning, so the view was really good. We walked over the beach from from one point to another point. I was really good.

There were few issues during our stay. Feedback was well taken by the owner on things like electricity outage, room service for food and room cleanliness. Other than that the property is near to beach and has a great view.

Great location with decent rooms. We booked 6 rooms for our family and we had great time. Capt Deepak Dalvi is very active and helpful person. He arranged pick and drop for railway station and Site seeing tours too. He is available full time so we could discuss our plans with him too. Rooms are good in size. King size bed and 1 extra mattress was available in every room. They are providing kettle and tea, coffee sachet as complimentary. Cloth hanging stand also provided in every room. Tv was there but not working AC in every room but service required as swinging was not working and in 1 room temperature change was not working. 24x7 power is available. They have generator back up which can run AC too. Their restaurant which runs by O'Fish has no liquor license so alcohol drinking was not allowed in restaurant so we had at our room but they gave us ice and support for liquid to be chilled. Tap water to wash our feet after beach is available outside our room. Water rides available at beach 200 meters away. Beach is isolated and few people are visible only so good beach. Overall we had a great time and holidays. Thank you 🙏 Few Suggestions after living for 4 days we would suggest are 1) In every bathroom 1 mop should be given 2) Cleaning of Cupboard, furniture and railings should also be done as our cupboard had so many small spiders which we cleaned by ourselves. 3) small locker should be available 4) small fridge should be available as liquor is not available in house so people has to carry their stock. 5) Irrigation pipe or any pipes which are present towards path of beach, should be submerge underground as it causes problem for old people and kids.

I really doubt on the reviews mentioned. The owner doesn’t even care once you have paid the amount and later can be loud on you too. He is strictly not available in between 2pm-5pm because it’s his resting time, forget about what you’re going through. Let’s come to the location, very outside location, outside beach is at 200-250 mtr. No sea view in monsoon since rooms/hotel have been packed from outside completely. The charges are very very high in comparison with the amenities provided. Cleanliness is on toss. Restaurant service is the worst, food is nice but you will get it 1 hour later of ordering time. Only 3-4 people are managing every thing and the reason it’s a poor in managing things. Overall it was below the expectations kind of experience, pls think twice before visiting because it’s your hard earned money.

Had a wonderful stay here. Rooms are spacious. You can see the ocean from the room and the porch and easily walk to the beach. The food was good. The place is quiet and there's a beautiful walk behind on the road.
